GS3 acetoxy silicone glazing sealant is a one-part elastomeric silicone sealant designed for residential in-plant and perimeter glazing applications.

Basic Use GS3 silicone glazing sealant is supplied ready-to-use. Under pressure, it flows readily from its container. It provides a high performance seal for a wide variety of in-plant glazing applications such as backbedding, cap bead, heel and toe beads. Colors Contact your local Quanex Sales representative or Customer Service Department to obtain a list of available colors. Packaging & Sizes GS3 acetoxy silicone glazing is available in cartridges. Cartridges: 10.3 fl. oz. (24 cartridges per box)

Specifications GS3 silicone glazing sealant meets or exceeds the requirements of the following specifications: TT-S00230C (COM-NBS); TT-S-001543A (COM-NBS); and ASTM C 920. Storage Conditions Containers should be kept sealed when not in use. After a container has been opened and entire contents have not been used, extrude 3/8 of material past nozzle opening. When ready to use, pull out cured plug. Sealant is ready to use. Health & Safety On contact, uncured sealant causes irritation. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do handle contact lenses with sealant on hands. In case of contact, flush eyes with water. Call physician. Remove from skin with dry cloth or paper towel. Sealant releases acetic acid (vinegar-like odor) during cure. When heated to temperatures above 300 F (150 C) in the presence of air, product can form formaldehyde vapors.
