Maryellen Cain 9/5/12 Text Sets After reading my literature book 14 Cows For America by Carmen Agra Deedy,

I started looking for other pieces of literature and media that would expand the learning of my students. I started searching the World Wide Web and found GoodRead.com and TeacherVision.com. I also used the Joyner Library Teaching Resource Center. I wanted to find several different types of literature and media that would engage all types of learners. The extended texts that I found all cover September 11th in a informal way. I wanted my future students to learn about this horrible day without getting the graphic images.
