INTRODUCTION

Garbage or wastes disposal is one of todays biggest problems facing by every country. Some had developed means of minimizing this problem. This is not a common issue for a developed and developing country since there is lack of space for dumpsites. In every dumpsite great volume of garbage or wastes are seen. Wastes are accumulated from every households and establishments. The immediately problem is the volume of wastes accumulated and because it occupies big space dumpsites will lose it capacity to hold on to it. In the community we are in, the collection of garbage requires a lot more of time and energy collecting garbage. The truck has limited space thats the very reason while dumping trucks have to go back again and again consuming extra time and energy. In addition, current trashcans have trouble keeping the waste or garbage odor in the container. It is annoying to smell foul odor from households and establishments. The proposed study is to come up with a useful machine in compacting waste and that compacted waste will hold on to its shape, a rectangular box perhaps, thus having it easy to file to save more space. Also, this machine will have an efficient odor sealing system.

SIGNIFICANCE OF STUDY
This study aims to lessen the problem of great volume of waste or garbage from every households and establishments comprising a community. It has been a constant issue for every households and establishments the volume of waste or garbage they produce over a period of time since the collection of it is not done regularly and frequent replacement of plastic bags is necessary. Additionally, the waste or garbage generate foul odor which is unpleasant to smell. If every households and establishments will have a trash compactor with odor seal, there will be a significant from the volume of trash that every households and establishments will produce. They will also be free from foul odor from the garbage. In a community the collection of garbage from every households and establishments is a big problem needed to be addressed. It requires a lot more of time and energy collecting bulks of trashes. Since the capacity of a garbage collector truck is limited it will not be possible to collect big amount of trash. Theyll have to dump it in a dumpsite before going back to collect another amount. It requires a lot more of time and energy in transferring garbage to a dumpsite. If the trash collected from every households and establishments was compacted and has its shape holded, there will be a significant increase in the

amount of waste or garbage that will be collected. Moreover it will be easy for the trash to file since it has its shape holded. Dumpsites have limited capacities of holding waste and if it reaches its maximum capacity there is a need for it to be replaced. As the population grows huge volume of waste and garbage will be collected, idle lands will be utilize to meet the need for shelter. If the waste or garbage will be compacted, the capacity of dumpsite will be maximize.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Trash compactors are slowly turning out to be crucial part of our living. These support to lessen the size of the waste to a size ration between 8-to-1 and also 2-to-1 based on the form of trash compactors you are using. Factories, shipyard, retail outlets, hospitals etc where a massive level of trash is generated gain sufficient benefit of these technologically advanced machines, this is due to, when the waste is compressed to a enough amount, you will need fairly lesser level of space to store waste aside from you will have to make less visits to the dumpster as the level of waste is lowered considerably. Due to several gains it gives and also as a result of accessibility to hassle-free garbage compactors on the market, these are furthermore getting needed for home use as well. But the compressed garbage has no definite form and the bad smell of it spread in air. Moreover, this problem as observed from the trash compactor in the market. The goal of trash compactor is to reduce the volume of the material. The desired outcome is the substantial cost savings achieved by reducing the number of hauls required to remove the waste material. Reducing Labor cost by eliminating baling and additional material handling. Sealed receiver bins and optional odor control systems manage odors. Minimize the odor coming from the garbage and to precise the fillings of the garbage by using the mold inside the trash compactor. In helping the environment is clean in the sight. And not spread in the roads, rivers and the drainages that can cause floods in the country. By that many peoples life became useless.
