With respect to the Investigative Judgment of the living, CHRIST, the righteous
JUDGE, cannot enter a final judgment until all the cases of the living righteous remnant
have been decided (those names that are entered into the Lambs Book of LifeCouncil
of Heavens court records see Rev. 11:18, 21:27). For details regarding GODs Councils
of Heaven, and its proceedings with respect to court documents on each earthly human
Soul see DA p. 759.
THE CLOSING WORK
The Investigative Judgment examines C-H-A-R-A-C-T-E-R:
This work of examination of character, of determining who are prepared for the kingdom
of GOD, is that of the investigative judgment, the closing work in the sanctuary above.
When the work of investigation shall be ended, when the cases of those who in all ages
have professed to be followers of Christ have been examined and decided, then, and not
till then, probation will close, and the door of mercy will be shut. Thus in the one short
sentence, They that were ready went in with him to the marriage, and the door was
shut, we are carried down through the Saviours final ministration, to the time when the
great work for mans salvation shall be completed. 1
RIGHTEOUSNESS BY FAITH
It is therefore imperative that we follow CHRIST by faith into the Most Holy
Place of the heavenly sanctuary. For approximately one hundred and seventy years,
CHRIST has been patiently awaiting our S-E-A-L-I-N-G actionswhile holding back the
winds of strife see Rev. 7:1-4, Early Writings pp. 36-38. Review and Herald August,
1st 1849 pars. 14-15. Many are being sealed today, do not be left out: BE READY, BE
READY, BE READY. Natural disasters in divers places are occurring throughout the
globe (Matt. 24:7) and we must not be presumptuous, assuming that CHRIST will
reserve a seat for us at HIS FATHERs throne without actions on our part see Rev. 3:21.
I saw that Jesus had shut the door in the Holy Place, and no man can open it; and that he
had opened the door in the Most Holy, and no man can shut it (See Revelation 3:7, 8.):
and that since Jesus has opened the door in the Most Holy Place, which contains the Ark,
the commandments have been shining out to Gods people, and they are being tested on
the Sabbath question. I saw that the present test on the Sabbath could not come, until the
mediation of Jesus in the Holy Place was finished; and he had passed within the second
vail; therefore, Christians, who fell asleep before the door was opened in the Most Holy,
when the midnight cry was finished, at the seventh month 1844; and had not kept the
true Sabbath, now rest in hope; for they had not the light, and the test on the Sabbath,
which we now have, since that door was opened. I saw that Satan was tempting some of
Gods people on this point. Because so many good Christians have fallen asleep in the
triumphs of faith, and have not kept the true Sabbath, they were doubting about it being a
test for us now. I saw that the enemies of the present truth have been trying to open the
door of the Holy Place, that Jesus has shut; and to close the door of the Most Holy Place,
which he opened in 1844, where the Ark is containing the two tables of stone, on which
are written the ten commandments, by the finger of Jehovah. Satan is now using every
device in this sealing time, to keep the minds of Gods people from the present, sealing
truth; and to cause them to waver. I saw a covering that God was drawing over his people,
3
to protect them in the time of trouble; and every soul that was decided on the truth, and
was pure in heart, was to be covered with the covering of Almighty God. 2
ARE YOU READY FOR CHRISTS RETURN, HAVE YOU FOLLOWED HIM INTO THE
MOST HOLY PLACE, BEHOLDING THE ARK OF HIS TESTAMENT, HIS CHARACTER
TRANSCRIPT OF EXO. 20?
Those who by faith followed their great High Priest, as he entered upon his ministry in
the most holy place, beheld the ark of his testament. As they had studied the subject of
the sanctuary, they had come to understand the Saviours change of ministration, and
they saw that he was now officiating before the ark of God, pleading his blood in behalf of
sinners.4
