photographers lke Sonny Yabao (Manila). Oscar Motuloh (Jakarta). Po Po (Yangon) and Ismail Hashim (Penang)
percnnally snubbed at these events? Worse. some of these events confound then very preamble of havtng these
1n111atves by featu11ng regonal photographers only m portfolio review sess1ons In a way. these photo festivals
"prove" to the world that Southeast As1an photographers are only good enough to be "reviewed"
As such, perhaps '' 1s only approproate that we have to gather m Changsha to expenence Southeast As1an
