Death I was talking to a guy who had a NDE.

From what I could make out, and actually, I think I had very similar experiences using psylocybin and ayahuasca, is that the sensation you get when you are at the point of death or dying, assuming you are conscious still of course, you know, I kind of slipping away death is that it feels as though the energy of life, your very life-force is being drawn away from you. I suppose the way it has been explained to me is that all energy is the energy of the planet. I suppose that if you consider your own legs, if you walk or run for long enough, they will eventually run out of energy. It will feel that the energy has been sapped from them, they get more and more tired, the further on that you push yourself. I suppose our lives are like that. If we consider life to be the activity, like walking or running is to our legs, then, as we go on and on in life, we get more and more warn out, just like our legs would and do when we walk. So, in a strange way, the energy is being sapped into the activity that we are involved in. Your own life force when you walk is being converted into walking energy and in life, our life-force is being converted into, well, whatever we do in our lives. So, at the moment of death, it has been said, that you can feel the greater good, the greater life, the higher self withdrawing the energy from you, so I am told, and you get weaker and weaker. I found on psylocybin, all I could do, often, was lie on the bed, because my physical energy was low even if my mental energy was on a high. So, this is what we have to consider, are each one of us like an extension of some higher self and when we die, the energy that we have or had that makes us who we are returns to the higher dimensions of self. It seems logical to me. It's not like you carry on in anyway, that's you finished or whatever, so the higher self is like a pool of energy from which parcelled fragments known as people are carved from and allotted their energy quota and then on death, the vital energy returns to the pool from whence it came. I suppose the simplest notion would be recycling. The great life-force recycler or our world. Life gets put out and taken back, over and over again on a lot of different levels. Like water can form ice, when spirit leaves the body, it melts back into the one pool of water (energy) symbolically, the higher self of all known life.
