Man's Lease on Earth is about to Expire

In the first chapter of Genesis, God
declared that He gave His earth to the first man
and his wife on lease for a fixed period. God
blessed the couple and gave a decree, Have
many children, so that your descendants will live
all over the earth and bring it under their control.
I am putting you in charge of the fish, the birds
and all the wild animals (Gen. 1:28 GNB). Man
disobeyed God and God cursed the good earth
saying, You listened to your wife and ate that
fruit which I told you not to eat. Because of what
you have done, the ground will be under a curse.
You will have to work hard all your life to make it
produce enough food for you (Gen. 3:17 GNB).
In Noahs time, the inhabitants of the cursed earth
were all destroyed by God for the wicked life
they were leading. Noah was different and

followed God, so he and his family (8 members)

were saved. Moreover God did not cancel the
lease of earth to man at that time but allowed it to
continue, And God blessed Noah and his sons,
and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and
replenish the earth; And the fear of you and the
dread of you shall be upon every beast of the
earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all
that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes
of the sea; into your hand are they delivered
(Gen. 9: 1, 2).
However, the lease to man is not forever.
God has a plan to change everything and create
all things new, And he that sat upon the throne
said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said
unto me, Write: for these words are true and
faithful (Rev. 21:5). Therefore, He told man in

His Book how He divided the times; from the

first man Adam, the lease to man will continue
only for 6000 years. During these 6000 years,
man can rule over all the earth and subdue it. That
is why we have human beings as rulers and
dictators, kings and queens, ministers, parliaments
and ruling parties, etc. Man will be so till the lease
period is completed.
After 6000 years, the lease will be
withdrawn and the Lord Jesus Christ will take
back all the authority and the rule of the nations,
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were
great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of
this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord,
and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and
ever (Rev. 11:15). The Lord will reign on the
earth with His saints for one thousand years. That
period is called the Millennial Period.
The saints to reign on the earth along with
King Jesus are those who would go up in the
Rapture to meet the Lord in the air, seven years
before His Second Coming. These saints include
dead and living believers; For the Lord himself
shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the
voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we
which are alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord
in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord
(1Thess. 4:16, 17). The Bible shows the reign of
man from Adam onwards would be completed in
6000 years, before it is taken out from him by the
last Adam. And so it is written, The first man
Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was
made a quickening spirit (1 Cor. 15:45). The
first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is
the Lord from heaven (1 Cor. 15:47). These six
thousand years are shown continuing this way in

the Scriptures.
From Adam to the Flood, the period lasted
for 1656 years, and from the Flood to Abraham,
427 years. Adams life overlapped Methuselah
by 243 years. Methuselahs life overlapped Noah
by 600 years. There were 126 years between
death of Adam and birth of Noah. Noah lived
350 years after the Flood and died two years
before the birth of Abraham. Shem lived from 98
years before Flood until 502 years after the Flood.
Shem lived until 75 years after Abraham entered
Canaan. Adam was alive at birth of his great
great great great great- grandchildren. Noah
lived to 9th generation of his own descendants.
Thus from Adam to Noah and from Noah to
Abraham, 2000 years had passed. From Abraham
to David and from David to our Lord Jesus, it
was a period of 2000 years.
Thus we know from the First man Adam
to the last Adam (Jesus), it was a period of about
4000 years. From Jesus Christ to this day, it is
nearing 2000 years according to the lunar
calendar. It is the Bible calendar, but ours is a
solar calendar. As the total period of 6000 years
is nearing completion, the Bible declares that our
generation is the last generation. The Lord gave a
sign of the fig tree blossoming, that is, the rebirth
of Jewish nation. This occurred in the year 1948.
Jesus declared that the people who live in that
generation will also see all the end-day events
including the Rapture, Tribulation period and the
Second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Seven years before mans lease on earth
expires, the Lord will call up His Church to the
mid-air, and those seven years on the earth are
called Tribulation years. The later three and a half
years of the Tribulation period are called Great
Tribulation years. People during that time will have

to face the wrath of God (Rev. 14:10,19; 15:1.7;

16:1; 19:15; John 3:36). The wrath of Satan also
will be on the earth in fullness during those seven
years. And the great dragon was cast out, that
old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which
deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into
the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Therefore rejoice ye heavens, and ye that dwell
in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of
the sea! for the devil is come down unto you,
having great wrath, because he knoweth that he
hath but a short time (Rev 12:9,12). The wrath
of the Lamb will be upon the earth. And the kings
of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men,
and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and
every bondman, and every free man, hid
themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the
mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks,
Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that
sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the
Lamb; For the great day of his wrath is come;
and who shall be able to stand? (Rev. 6:15, 16,
17). Apart from this, innumerable demons are
brought out of the bottomless pit to torture the
people. Unable to bear the pain and suffering
caused by those demons, people will desire death,
but God stops their death for five months to make
the torture full, And in those days shall men seek
death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die,
and death shall flee from them (Rev. 9:6). Apart
from this, the Antichrist will make countless people
to meet their death as per Rev 6:8 and 9:18. The
Tribulation will be so horrendous that Jesus
Himself said, For then shall be great tribulation,
such as was not since the beginning of the world
to this time, no, nor ever shall be (Matt. 24:21).
The saints who have gone up in the rapture
are separated into two groups. Towards one

group, the Bible states; For so an entrance shall

be ministered unto you abundantly into the
everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour
Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:11). For the other group,
there will be an eternal shame (1 John 2:28). This
all depends upon the works they had done for
the Lord which are recorded before God. That is
why the Lord said; I will give unto every one
of you according to your works (Rev. 2:23);
Who will render to every man according to his
deeds (Rom. 2:6); For the Son of man shall
come in the glory of his Father with his angels;
and then he shall reward every man according to
his works (Matt. 16:27). So, those who are
preparing to meet the Lord in the air should check
their lives whether they have works to follow or
not: and their works do follow them (Rev.
14:13). Those works should be according to the
will of God. Otherwise, they will be burnt before
the judgment seat of Christ; Every mans work
shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare
it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire
shall try every mans work of what sort it is (I
Cor. 3:13). If your works are burnt away, you
will be at loss for eternity. Behold, I come as a
thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth
his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see
his shame (Rev. 16:15).
Dear Reader, ours is the last generation! Will
Jesus invite you with these words? His lord said
unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant:
thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make
thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy
of thy lord; Then shall the King say unto them on
his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father,
inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the
foundation of the world (Matt. 25:21, 34).
