9:30 AM The Plague of the Heart

A special thanks goes out to the Family Camp Committee for the many hours spent organizing and coordinating a great family camp this year. This group has been tireless at putting on a large church event that combines all the elements of spiritual & practical instruction around God's word, as well as fellowship and family time spent together as church members. The financial support of the congregation is also much appreciated to make this camp possible year after year. Annual Seminary Day is being held in the Free Reformed Church of St. George (269 St. George Road) on Labor Day, Monday, September 3 D.V. The morning session will begin at 10:30 AM with Dr. W. VanDoodewaard, Church History professor at PRTS, speaking on Thomas Boston: Preacher of Christ, and at 1:30 PM Rev. H. Bergsma will speak on Are Spiritual Gifts Vital to the Body of Christ Today? Nursery Care, Youth Activities and Musical Contributions are planned. Refreshments and Lunch will be provided at cost. An Offering will be received for the Free Reformed Theological Education Fund which supports the training at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary. All ages are welcome. All committee, Bible study, club, group, & society leaders: Please submit a list of your meeting/event dates for the coming season to Julie La Rocque by August 21. Thank you!
