Some supplications from the Quran have been selected and presented in this small document for the Muslims to recite whenever they need them. The idea is to use the exact same supplications as the Anbiyyah[may Allah[swt] peace and blessing be upon them all] used during their Propehthood. Because what worked for them then, should surely work for us now And Allah[swt] Knows best. Surely the Dua is the weapon of the Believers I ask that Allah subhaanahu wa Taala Except this small effort from us And to grant our Ummah victory in this life and the next Ameen
1. "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily! You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower." "Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show us our Mansik and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.
[Baqarah 127_8]
rabbana taqabbal minna innaka anta as-sameeul aleemu Rabbana wajAalna muslimayni laka wa min thurriyyatina ummatan muslimatan laka wa arina manasikanaa watub Aalayna innaka anta attawwabur_raheem
2. "Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!"

3. "Our Lord! Pour forth on us patience and make us victorious over the disbelieving people."

4. "We hear, and we obey. (We seek) Your Forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the return (of all)."
[Baqarah_285]
5. "Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us (Jews and Christians); our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us Forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our and give us victory over the disbelieving people."

rabbana la tu-akhithna in naseena aw akhta/na rabbana wala tahmil Aalayna isran kama hamaltahu Aalal-latheena min qablina rabbana wala tuhammilna ma la taqata lana bihi waAfu Aanna waghfir lana warhamna anta mawlana fansurna Aalal-qawmil-kafireen
6. "Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower."

Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana baAAda ith hadaytana wahab lana min ladunka rahmatan innaka anta alwahhabu
7. "Our Lord! We have indeed believed, so forgive us our sins and save us from the punishment of the Fire."

8. "O my Lord! Grant me from You, a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation.

9. Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger ['Iesa (Jesus)]; so write us down among those who bear witness (to the truth)

10. "Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and our transgressions (in keeping our duties to You), establish our feet firmly, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk."

Rabbana-ghfir lana thunoobana wa-israfana fee amrina wathabbit aqdamana wansurna Aalal-qawmil-kafireen
11. "Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire. "Our Lord! Verily, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him, and never will the Zlimn find any helpers. "Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one (Muhammad SAW) calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die in the state of righteousness along with Al-Abrr (those who are obedient to Allh and follow strictly His Orders). "Our Lord! Grant us what You promised unto us through Your Messengers and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection, for You never break (Your) Promise."

Rabbana ma khalaqta hatha batilan subhanaka faqina Aathaban-nari Rabbana innaka man tudkhilin-nara faqad akhzaytahu wama lith-thalimeena min ansarin Rabbana innana sami3na munadiyan yunadee lileemani an aminoo birabbikum faamanna rabbana faghfir lana thunoobana wakaffir Aanna sayyi-atina watawaffana maAal-abrari Rabbana waatina ma waAadtana Aala rusulika wala tukhzina Yawmal-qiyamati innaka la tukhliful-meeAada
12. "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from You one who will protect, and raise for us from You one who will help."
[Nisa_75]
rabbana akhrijna min hathihilqaryati th-thalimi ahluha wajAallana min ladunka waliyyan wajAal lana min ladunka naseeran
When the Christians listen to what has been sent down to The Messenger Muhammad[saws] they say:
14. "Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers."

rabbana thalamna anfusana wa-in lam taghfir lana watarhamna lanakoonanna minal-khasireena
The men whose good & evil deed are equal will say:
15. "Our Lord! Place us not with the people who are Zlimn
[Araf_47]
16. Our Lord! Judge between us and our people in truth, for You are the Best of those who give judgment."
[Araf_89]
17. Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims."
[Araf_126]
Musa[as] said:
18. "O my Lord! Forgive me and my brother, and make us enter into Your Mercy, for you are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy."

rabbi ighfir lee wali-akhee waadkhilna fee rahmatika waanta arhamu alrrahimeena
19. "Allh is sufficient for me. L ilha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), in Him I put my trust and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne."
[Tawbah_126]
Allahu la ilaha illa huwa AAalayhi tawakkaltu wahuwa rabbu alAAarshi alAAatheemi
rabbana la tajAAalna fitnatan lilqawmi alththalimeena Wanajjina birahmatika mina alqawmi alkafireena
Nuh[as] said
21. "O my Lord! I seek refuge with You from asking You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have Mercy on me, I would indeed be one of the losers."

rabbi innee aAAoothu bika an as-alaka ma laysa lee bihi AAilmun wa-illa taghfir lee watarhamnee akun mina alkhasireena
Ibraheem[as] said:
22. "O my Lord! Make this city (Makkah) one of peace and security, and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols.

23. "O my Lord! Make me one who performs As-Salt (Iqmatas-Salt), and (also) from my offspring, our Lord! And accept my invocation

25. My Lord! Let my entry (to the city of Al-Madinah) be good, and likewise my exit (from the city of Makkah) be good. And grant me from You an authority to help me

26. "Our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Yourself, and facilitate for us our affair in the right way!"

rabbana atina min ladunka rahmatan wahayyi/ lana min amrina rashadan
27. "O my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness). And ease my task for me; And make loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue, That they understand my speech
[Taha_25/8]
rabbi ishrah lee sadree Wayassir lee amree Waohlul AAuqdatan min lisanee Yafqahoo qawlee
Jonah[as] said:
29. [none has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allh)], Glorified (and Exalted) are You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]. Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers."
[Anbiyah_87] Zakariyyah[as] cried out to his Lord saying:
30. "O My Lord! Leave me not single (childless), though You are the Best of the inheritors."
[Anbiyah_89]
Say Oh Muhammad[saws]:
31. " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment) "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zlimn (polytheists and wrong-doing)."

rabbi imma turiyannee ma yooAAadoona Rabbi fala tajAAalnee fee alqawmi alththalimeena
33. "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!"
[Muminoon_109]
34. "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!"
[Muminoon_118]
35. "Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily! Its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment." Evil indeed it (Hell) is as an abode and as a place to dwell.
[Furqan_65-6]
rabbana isrif AAanna AAathaba jahannama inna AAathabaha kana gharaman Innaha saat mustaqarran wamuqaman
36. "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqn"

rabbana hab lana min azwajina wathurriyyatina qurrata aAAyunin waijAAalna lilmuttaqeena imaman
37. My Lord! Bestow Hukman (religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) on me, and join me with the righteous; And grant me an honourable mention in later generations; And make me one of the inheritors of the Paradise of Delight.

Rabbi hab lee hukman waalhiqnee bialssaliheena WaijAAal lee lisana sidqin fee al-akhireena WaijAAalnee min warathati jannati alnnaAAeemi
Sulaiman[as] said:
38. "My Lord! Inspire and bestow upon me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favours which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds that will please You, and admit me by Your Mercy among Your righteous slaves."

rabbi awziAAnee an ashkura niAAmataka allatee anAAamta AAalayya waAAala walidayya waan aAAmala salihan tardahu waadkhilnee birahmatika fee AAibadika alssaliheena
39. "My Lord! Verily, I have wronged myself, so forgive me." Then He forgave him. Verily, He is the OftForgiving, the Most Merciful.

rabbi innee thalamtu nafsee faighfir lee faghafara lahu innahu huwa alghafooru alrraheemu
40. "My Lord! For that with which You have favoured me, I will never more be a helper for the Mujrimn (criminals, disobedient to Allh, polytheists, sinners)!"
[Qasas_17]
41. "My Lord! Save me from the people who are wrong-doers)"

Musa[as] said:
42. "My Lord! Truly, I am in need of whatever good that You bestow on me!"

Lut[as] said:
43. "My Lord! Give me victory over the people who are Mufsidn
[Ankaboot_30]
Those (angels) who bear the Throne (of Allh) and those around it glorify the praises of their Lord, and believe in Him, and ask forgiveness for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allh) (saying):
45. "Our Lord! You comprehend all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your Way, and save them from the torment of the blazing Fire! "Our Lord! And make them enter the 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens) which you have promised them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their offspring! Verily, You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. "And save them from (the punishment, because of what they did of) the sins, and whomsoever You save from (the punishment, because of what they did of) the sins (i.e. excuse them) that Day, him verily, You have taken into mercy." And that is the supreme success.

rabbana wasiAAta kulla shay-in rahmatan waAAilman faighfir lillatheena taboo waittabaAAoo sabeelaka waqihim AAathaba aljaheemi Rabbana waadkhilhum jannati AAadnin allatee waAAadtahum waman salaha min aba-ihim waazwajihim wathurriyyatihim innaka anta alAAazeezu alhakeemu Waqihimu alssayyi-ati waman taqi alssayyi-ati yawma-ithin faqad rahimtahu wathalika huwa alfawzu alAAatheemu
46. "Our Lord! Remove the torment from us, really we shall become believers!"
[Dukhan_12]
And We have enjoined on man to be dutiful and kind to his parents. His mother bears him with hardship and she brings him forth with hardship, and the bearing of him, and the weaning of him is thirty (30) months, till when he attains full strength and reaches forty years, he says:
47. "My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds, such as please You, and make my off-spring good. Truly, I have turned to You in repentance, and truly, I am one of the Muslims (submitting to Your Will)."

rabbi awziAAnee an ashkura niAAmataka allatee anAAamta AAalayya waAAala walidayya waan aAAmala salihan tardahu waaslih lee fee thurriyyatee innee tubtu ilayka wa-innee mina almuslimeena
48. "Our Lord! Forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in Faith, and put not in our hearts any hatred against those who have believed. Our Lord! You are indeed full of kindness, Most Merciful.

rabbana ighfir lana waliikhwanina allatheena sabaqoona bial-eemani wala tajAAal fee quloobina ghillan lillatheena amanoo rabbana innaka raoofun raheemun
49 ." Our Lord! In You (Alone) we put our trust, and to You (Alone) we turn in repentance, and to You (Alone) is (our) final Return

50. "Our Lord! Make us not a trial for the disbelievers, and forgive us, Our Lord! Verily, You, only You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise."
[Mumtahina_5]
Rabbana la tajAAalna fitnatan lillatheena kafaroo waighfir lana rabbana innaka anta alAAazeezu alhakeemu
the Day that Allh will not disgrace the Prophet (Muhammad SAW) and those who believe with him, their Light will run forward before them and with (their Records Books of deeds) in their right hands they will say:
51. "Our Lord! Keep perfect our Light for us [and do not put it off till we cross over the Sirt (a slippery bridge over the Hell) safely] and grant us forgiveness. Verily, You are Able to do all things."
[Tahrim_8]
rabbana atmim lana noorana waighfir lana innaka AAala kulli shayin qadeerun
Nh[as] said:
52. "My Lord! Forgive me, and my parents, and him who enters my home as a believer, and all the believing men and women. And to the Zlimn (polytheists, wrong-doers, and disbelievers, etc.) grant You no increase but destruction!"
