    DistrictRequirements:
    AnnuallyTitleIProgramstaffwillinvolveparentsinthedevelopmentoftheTitleIPlanandTitleIProgram Evaluationthroughfeedbackfromsurveysandinterpersonalcommunication.TheTitleIstaffwill continuetosolicittheirinvolvementinschoolimprovementefforts. Theschooldistrictandadministrationteamwillbuildschoolandparentcapacityforstrongparental involvement.Theteamwillalsoprovidetechnicalandadvisoryassistanceindevelopmentand implementationoftheplanandeffectiveparentinvolvementactivities. TheschooldistrictstaffwillcoordinateandintegrateTitleIparentalinvolvementstrategieswithother programs.

    TitleISchoolRequirements:
    TheTitleISchoolwillholdanannualmeetinginatimelymannertoinformparticipatingfamiliesabout theprogram,parentalrightsandresponsibilities,andopportunitiesforpartnershipbetweentheschool andthehomeinbuildingthestudentsacademicskills.Attheinitialmeetingthestaffwill ensurethatallparentsreceivetheparentsrighttoknowdocument,regardingteacher qualifications; provideinformationabouttheassessmentsusedindeterminingeligibilityandthenatureand contentofspecificprogramsthatwillbeusedtosupplementclassroominstruction; providewritteninformationabouttheresultsoftheirparticularstudentsassessmentandthe contentoftheprograminwhichtheirchildwillbeparticipatingwithinoneweekofthestart datefortheirchildsinstruction;and followupwithphonecallstoclarifyanyinformationneeded. Parentswillbeinformedofmeetingsinwritingandifpossible,invitedpersonallyviaphonecall.Ifthereis aneedexpressedforchildcareortransportation,theTitleIprogramwillmakearrangementsforstudents (whenappropriate)andsiblingstobecaredforonsiteduringthemeetingsfreeofchargetotheparents. Ifneeded,transportationwillbemadeavailabletoparentswishingtoattend. Additionalmeetingsmaybescheduledduringtheyeartoprovideanopportunityforparentstoask questionsandgaininformationaboutacademicdevelopmentandstrategiestohelptheirstudents succeed.Meetingswillbegearedtowardmeetingtheexpressedneedsoftheparentswithregardtotheir studentsacademicdevelopmentandskills. Parentfeedbackwillbegatheredtoassesstheprogramseffectivenessandtohelpinformfuture decisionsaboutitsscopeandcontent.
