Students who have passed A-Level (IGCSC or any equivalent) or International Baccalaureate with a minimum score of 24 or equivalent with a minimum pass in 3 subjects including Biology, Pass in Foundation, Matriculation, Preuniversity program with a pass in 3 subjects including Biology (minimum 50% or Grade C or CGPA of 2.0), AIMST Foundation in Science, CIMP/SAM/CPU/MUFY/NSW HSC/UNSW Foundation with Grade C in 3 subjects including Biology, Government Matriculation, Pass in Bachelor degree or Diploma in related fields with CGPA 2.0 or any equivalent qualifications approved by Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. Curriculum Highlights
FIRST-YEAR students master the fundamental of molecular biology, microbiology and genetics. SECOND-YEAR students gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in different aspects of biotechnology like Genomics, Proteomics, Bioinformatics and instrumentation. THIRD YEAR focuses on intensive project-based learning in molecular biology, pharmaceutical sciences, analytical instrumentation, tissue culture and cutting-edge technologies like nanotechnology, pharmacogenomics, metabolomics, molecular modeling , Forensic Sciences and molecular diagnosis. Knowledge on business concepts. Well placed Industrial training with aid from Malaysian Biotechnology corporation and cutting edge Research Projects are the key curriculum content that helps the student in the job placement.
