your Lenco turntable bearing by using our special nanoparticles-containing solid grease, instead of the original liquid oil.

How to improve

What you need : Our kit containing one 10 ml syringe of nanogrease + one replacement 5 mm steel ball + one cleaning swab. A small screwdriver. A forceps to remove the bearing circlip. A clean piece of cotton cloth. Some isopropyl alcohol, or any other cleaning product to remove old grease.

Remove the small black screw which blocks the axis.

Remove the axis out of the bearing.

Remove the plastic cap which is supposed to prevent oil leaks from the bearing.

With the special forceps, remove the circlip wich is blocking the steel plate, and the nylatron thrustplate which are the bottom of the bearing.

Clean all parts of any remaining traces of oil and old grease, using the cleaning swab and a piece of cotton cloth soaked with the appropriate solvent. Allow to dry.

Take the axis in your hand and remove gently the old steel ball, which is stuck to the axis by some remaining old grease. You can use the small screwdriver to do that.

Clean the axis to remove any trace of old grease and gently put some nanogrease in the small cavity at the bottom of the axis.

Install gently the new steel ball in the cavity at the bottom of the axis.

Then add some more grease onto the steel ball, so that you obtain a good and permanent lubrication of the steel ball, which will stand on the steel plate and support all the weight of the axis and platter.

Then carefully add some nanogrease on the axis itself, so that the nanogrease will form a regular coat between the axis and the oilite bearings.

Replace the steel plate at the bottom of the bearing. In our experience, we do not anymore use the nylatron thrustplate. But feel free to make your own experiments.

Whith the special forceps, put back in its place the black steel circlip. Be careful to push it completely in its housing.

Gently place back the axis in the bearing. Be careful that the steel ball remains in his housing.

Now you have to mount back your nanogrease lubricated bearing into your turntable. You dont need anymore the small black screw which blocked the axis in the bearing. You dont need anymore the plastic cap which was supposed to prevent oil leaks. Now you can enjoy your new bearing. Dont hesitate to write us your impressions about improvements to your system !

Rotate gently the axis whith two fingers to obtain a good coating of the axis surface by the nanogrease.
