Dear Nazaroh Thank you for registering to attend the Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear Terrorisms (GICNT) Iron Koala: Information Sharing During Nuclear Smuggling Events seminar scheduled for 28-31 May 2012 in Sydney, Australia. Financial support for selected participants to attend Iron Koala is provided by the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO); the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade; and the U.S. Department of Energy, through the Middle East Scientific Institute for Security (MESIS), a nonGovernmental organisation in Jordan. Your request for travel assistance has been approved and the purpose of this email is to provide you with important information regarding this support. You will be provided with financial assistance to a maximum amount of $1,900 AUD. This amount is based on current return economy (coach) class airfares to Sydney, four nights accommodation at the Mercure Hotel and an allowance for meals and incidentals. Please read the following information carefully and respond to me with the required details by Monday 21 May, 12.00noon Australian Eastern Standard Time so we can make the necessary arrangements for the funds reimbursement transfer. Airfares Economy flights from your home country to Sydney, Australia and return are to be booked and paid for by you. The amount of $948 AUD will be reimbursed into your nominated bank account by electronic funds transfer in your local currency at the current exchange rate. Accommodation You are responsible for booking and paying for your own accommodation with the Mercure Hotel. re05@accor.com>. You will need to provide a credit card number to guarantee your room at the time of booking. The amount of $700 AUD will be reimbursed into your nominated bank account by electronic funds transfer in your local currency at the current exchange rate. Please note the assistance provided is only for four nights (27th 30th). Any additional nights will be at your own expense. Meals and Incidentals Breakfast is provided by the Mercure Hotel as part of the accommodation cost and lunch will be provided as part of the conference. You will receive an allowance of $63 AUD per day for dinner and incidentals, a total of $252 AUD (4 days). This will be paid to you in Australian dollars cash on the first day of the conference. Local Transportation You are responsible for your own transport between the airport and hotel. The incidental allowance is provided for payments of this nature. REIMBURSEMENT DETAILS - Please complete and return the attached Bank Account Details Form to me by Monday 21 May. The amount for your airfares and accommodation will be paid into your nominated account on Wednesday 30 May after you have arrived for the conference, providing your bank account details are received by the due date.
