This can be coz by the DVVT system but it doesnt means that DVVT is not good for our Viva. Actually the problem here is the driver didnt use the right gear at the right time. Here some tips, for example your current speed around 60km/j when you start to climbing hill drop your from 4th to 3rd gear and lets the rpm meter until 2700 3000, then u change back to 4th gear. Or if the case here your current speed only around 40-50km/j, drop your gear to 2nd and rev up your rpm until 2700-3000, then change to 3rd gear. Believe me you can feel the power of our viva engine with DVVT. The timing mechanism will be fully utilized if we put the right gear at the right time. We've check the engine after the test and the temperature was not high, it's means here DVVT here had hide the power of our engine, for those who comment about no pick up, actually the have to rev up more rpm because our car is made to rev up until 4000rpm. One more thing we realize that the engine wasn't made too much noise went it reach 4000rpm, believe me it will not damaging our engine. DVVT is same as VTEC, its control the amount of valve that will be use. VTEC is use by Honda for a larger cc engine (1.4-2.5cc) and DVVT is use for the small cc engine (660-1.4cc). Every car have their own ratio for power to weight, when Hyuga do the driving test for this car,1st we've try only one driver with aircond and without, the result was so great, my viva speed up till 100km/j easily, the we've try 4 person in cars (each person weight around 35-60kg),the result was similar but this viva have to rev up until 2500rpm to get 100km/j easily, then we've try 5 person that have same weight but add up a few luggage that fit the space that we have, the result....was so good, i've only have to rev up until 3500 rpm when change gear and reach 100km/j easily and smooth with any problem with pick up, for member info. we've only use last then RM 10 of fuel for this driving test (Approximately).... Currently Hyuga and friends want to find out the weakness of our EFI engine with DVVT...further info. i'll post in this topic.
