SOUTHERN REGION WORKSHOP ON

SAFETY HELD ON 2ND JUNE 2012 AT HOTEL TAJ GATEWAY, KOCHI AIIGMA organized the Southern Region Workshop on Safety on 2nd June 2012 at Kochi which was a stupendous success with participation of over 75 delegates. Mr. T. R. Thomas, Chief Controller of Explosives, Petroleum Explosives & Safety Organisation (PESO), Nagpur was the Chief Guest. Mr. S. share information on matters of common interest and the interaction amongst the members from different regions will help evolve new ideas and modes of development. Sahasranam, Convener, Southern Region, AIIGMA while welcoming the Chief Guest, Mr. Thomas and the participants said that AIIGMA had always been the voice of the Gas Industry and has represented the concerns with the Government in a positive and constructive manner. He also appreciated the close cooperation and support received from the PESO office. Mr. Sahasranam expressed confidence that the deliberations at the Workshop would bring forth meaningful views and suggestions which can be imbibed for development of the Indian Gas Industry. The papers were detailed and informative and the brainstorming sessions were a rewarding experience. The deliberations on some very important aspects of gas industry made the Workshop a very purposeful one. The Workshop was well represented by gas manufacturers from all over India, particularly from the Southern Region. The Entire Event was jointly sponsored by Cryolor Asia Pacific Pvt. Ltd., Manorama Oxygen Pvt. Ltd. and Popular Carbonic Pvt. Ltd. It was an overall informative and enriching experience for the participants.
