INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study: It is very essential to understand the human behaviour of the students at home and in school. Because it allows us to know what drives people and also we will understand the better motives, behind the actions of people. However, when we understand the different people feel and act in different ways, we might understand that is just the way the person acts or behave and for whatever the reason is, it could be possibly because of his or her own issues. So understanding human behaviour helps us to know better to the others and ourselves; it helps us have a better life, and appreciate more the world around us.1

Students behaviour refers to the range of behaviours exhibited by humans and which are influenced by culture, attitudes, emotions, values, ethics, authority, rapport, hypnosis, persuasion, coercion and/or genetics. The behaviour of students falls within a range with some behaviour being common, some unusual, some acceptable, and some outside acceptable limits. In sociology, behaviour in general is considered as having no meaning, being not directed at other people, and thus is the most basic human action. Behaviour in this general sense should not be mistaken with social behaviour which is a more advanced action, as social behavior is behavior specifically directed at other people. The acceptability of behavior is evaluated relative to social norms and regulated by various means of social control. The behavior of people is

studied by the academic disciplines of psychiatry, psychology, social work, sociology, economics, and anthropology.2

One of the biggest problems faced by the Philippines is its inability to control the increase of violence inside schools. This is primarily because of the reason that no laws or rules can be enforced on children to make them go in the right path. The only way the government can act is to pass stricter laws on the school authorities to take care of this issue. Though many laws have been passed in the recent past which imposed huge penalties on schools which had problems related with school violence, it has not been effective till now. We may feel that it should be at the hands of the school authorities to handle such a sensitive situation. But it is not the exact need of the hour. Even with loads of advice and counselling from parents and teachers on students to improve their behaviour and have a good attitude, it is in the hands of the children to be more responsible and wise enough to avoid any actions that is harmful.3 However, people seek information about the students behavior so that we will know and determine the different behavior in every student and primarily studies who and what we are, why we are like that, why we act and think like that and what we could be as a person. Behavior at home: Almost of the students behavior at home is they dont have any freedom to their self because the parents are there; they are observing what they doing. Behavior at School: Most of the students behavior at school is different from home because when they at school the behavior of the students will change through the influence of

their friends and also they are free from their parents rules.

Achievement behaviour is an important part of a students development that leads to a students learning to be effective and developing a sense of mastery over his environment. Through achievement one develops a positive self-esteem, feeling of acceptance, adequacy and self worth and also to determine determine the mentally of the students or uniqueness of each and everyone There are many factors that affect students motivation and achievement behaviour. The key players are parents, teacher and society.4 And the contribution on this research is that, to help us for our daily activities towards on how to mingle or facilitate the different types of human behaviour.

Researcher hopes to find out the different types of attitudes and behaviour of students.

The benefit of the study is to help us understand our selves better; it helps us to perceive things positively and it assists us in determining the things that we enjoy doing the most. It also contribute a lot of great help in the way to handle things in life, the way we face challenges and problems that occurs at an unexpected time and lastly the way we make decisions in our everyday living.5
