the MEANING of TRIATHLON

Triathlon is the ultimate endurance multisport. To me, triathlon is a lifestyle. ult I have always bee involved in sports, whether gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, synchronized swimming, been or water polo, but none of those have brought me the passion and motivation triathlon has. A friend introduced me to the multisport, and within two weeks, I bought a bike, learned how to clip in, and participated in my very first triathlon. Immediately, I knew this was the sport for me. To me, triathlon is now the Only Ultimate Lifestyle! It is a way of life, w where you wake up early and enjoy swimming, biking, running, and pushing until you cannot push any harder. It is a sport anyon can do no matter your age, size, athletic capacity or experience. Your are a triathlete anyone when you have th dedication to cross the finish line and the will to swim, bike, run, and say I DID IT. the It is a competitive but supportive sport. Triathletes always push themselves and each other. This becomes clear when a fello triathlete passes you on the run and shouts good job, keep going; when an unknown fellow cyclist stops and asks if you need help fixing your flat tire; or when, after a harder than expected workout, a friend tells you t keep going, keep your eyes on the goal and push harder because you are worth it. to It is a family; a cha chance to meet people who have the same interests, to enjoy a simple bike ride and appreciate the da and to feel full of life by inspiring others and getting motivated by other inspiring day, athletes. It is a standard of living: always doing your best, always challenging your body and mind to the ultimate limit. I strive to share, in influence, and motivate others to live the healthy and active multisport lifestyle. After placing 4th a USAT 2012 National Championship (7 seconds from 3rd place), I now have the chance at to compete in one of the fastest races in the world. I do not take this opportunity lightly and promise myself and you that I will train hard and race hard, leaving no regrets! regrets
