Affirmative SUBJECT + VERB + COMPLEMENTS

In the third person singular we add s to the verb.

I like football. You study English. She speaks three languages. He drinks coffee It starts at ten oclock. We go on a trip. You play dress. They love their parents.

Negative SUBJECT + DONT/DOESNT + INFINITIVE + COMPLEMENTS

I dont like football. You dont study English. She doesnt speak three languages. He doesnt drink coffee It doesnt start at ten oclock. We dont go on a trip (viatge). You dont play dress (jugar a disfresses). They dont love their parents.

Interrogative ASI (auxiliary, subject, infinitive) or QUASI (question word, auxiliary, subject, infinitive). DO/DOES + SUBJECT + INFINITIVE + COMPLEMENTS + ?

Do you like football? Do you study English? Does she speak three languages? Does he drink coffee? Does it start at ten oclock? Do we go on a trip? (trip- viatge) Do you play dress? They love their parents?

When the verb ends in s, -ch, -x, -sh, -o we add es to the

third person singular:

* Verbs that end in consonant + -y we add + ies.
