Admin Workflow
1. Admin can access the Admin Control Panel from the Admin section of the Bayer Canada Education portal. 2. Admin logs in entering User ID and Password. 3. The system validates for correct information. 4. If correct, then it authenticates the user to access the Admin Control Panel. 5. If incorrect, then Admin can either try few more times or can click on Trouble signing in. 6. Then a small pop-up window opens up and asks for Admins email address. 7. If it is the same email address that Admin was assigned at the time of creating the account, then an email with User ID and password is then sent to the Admin. 8. Once the system authenticates for Admin to access the Admin Control Panel, the Admin can manage the following functions: 9. Manage Users: a. Create, edit, delete, enable/disable, and activate Users. 10. Manage Course: a. Create, edit, delete and archive courses. b. Courses are categorized based on some professions. c. Upload courses. d. Preview courses. e. Create Quiz / Tests. f. Create Grade.

g. Select Template for Certificate. h. Create Feedback Survey. 11. Manage Products: a. Add, edit, delete and archive products. b. Showcase New Products. c. Showcase Featured Products. Workflow & Design Document Version 1.1 SynergyTech Page 4 of 11

12. Manage News: a. Add, edit, delete and archive News. b. News can be categorized as top news. 13. Manage Discussion: a. Archive and delete Discussions. b. Block users. 14. Manage Resources: a. Add, edit, delete and archive Resources. 15. Manage FAQ: a. Add, edit, delete and archive FAQ. b. FAQs can be categorized based on topics. 16. Manage Report: a. Admin can access various kinds of reports generated by the system.

Student Workflow
1. Student visits the Bayer Canada Education site. 2. Student registers with the site by filling out a registration form. 3. An account is created with status Pending Activation. 4. An email with an activation link, User ID and Password is sent to the Student at the email address provided at the time of registration. 5. Once Student clicks on the activation link, the login page opens up. 6. The Student enters User ID and Password and the system validates for correct information. 7. Once student information is validated, the Students account gets activated. 8. A returning student enters User ID and Password in the login page of the site. 9. The systems validates for correct information. 10. If validated, Home Page opens up with the following options to choose: a. Courses Page: Displays list of courses that are available for the Students. Depending on the type of Student, courses are displayed. Image in Course Page will change based on the type of student. For example, if the student is a pharmacist, a relevant image will appear. If the student is a patient then, another image will appear, so on and so forth. b. Products Page: Displays Products as showcased by Bayer Canada, which may include New Products, Featured Products etc. c. Learning Portfolio: Displays snapshot view of Courses available, course status, results of courses taken, and profile information. i. Dashboard: Complete list of Courses depending on the category of that Student will be displayed in the Students dashboard. There will be 3 types of status of each course depending on their enrollment: Completed In-Progress Not-Started

ii. Update Profile: The Student can update information in this page like, address, phone number, and email or upload photos etc.

d. Update Profile: The Student can update information in this page like, address, phone number, email or upload photos etc. e. News Page: Displays current News, top News and archived News. b. Discussion Page: Student can create a Discussion here. Discussion can be created only on a particular Course and displays current Discussion grouped by courses. This page also displays recent Discussions, and archived Discussion and allows the Students to comment on a Discussion. c. Resources Page: Displays resources that the Student can use like BMI Calculator etc. d. FAQ Page: Displays frequently asked questions grouped under different categories and also those which are most viewed. 11. To start a course a Student has to select a course from a list of available courses. 12. The Student then clicks on Start Course button to enroll in the course. 13. Once the Student enrolls in for a course, the status of that course becomes In-Progress. 14. The Students may take a Pre-Test for the course in which they have enrolled. This is optional and not a mandatory requirement for taking the Final Test for that course. 15. The Student can view Pre-Test results. 16. The Student can go through the different modules of the course. At any point in time they can download the courses in PDF format. 17. The Student then takes Final Test to complete the course. The Final Test is mandatory for course completion. It can be taken any time after enrolling in a course. 18. The Student can view the result. 19. If the Student passes the course, he can be asked to participate in a feedback survey on Trainee Experience. The survey is optional. 20. As soon as the student completes a course, an automated email will be sent to the students that Bayer has additional courses, video or a link for further training. Suggested courses, video or link will be dependent on the type of the student. For example if the student is s pharmacist he gets access all pharmacist courses and so if he completes a course, the automated email will suggest him to take other courses, video or a link relevant to him. If the student is a Pharmacy technician he gets access to only courses relevant to pharmacy technician and completing a course will generate email suggesting courses, video or a link relevant to him. 21. Whether or not the Students participate in the survey, they can view their certificate and also print the certificate. 22. If the Student fails, they can again take both the Pre-Test and Final Test. 23. Once a Student passes the Final Test, the status is displayed as Completed.
