Organic 100% Merino 50g/101m 6 balls Brown Tweed

1 pair 6.5mm knitting needles Tapestry needle to weave in cut yarn. Width: Loosely 80cms, you may want it narrower. Length: Approx 2m, you may choose to make it longer. This simple and yet elegant wrap is worked on a yarn over (YO), knit 2 together) pattern, in between 3 rows of stocking stitch. Cast on 84st with 6.5mm needles. Knit 2 rows. Garter st edge. Begin pattern: Row 1: K2, * yo k2tog *, rep * to * to last 2 st. k2. Row 2: K2 purl to last 2 st, k2. This is when the holey effect appears. Row 3: knit. Row 4: k2 purl to last 2 st, k2. Repeat pattern until desired length, to make a Wrap long enough to and throw over the shoulder. Last 2 rows should be knit for a garter stitch edging. Cast off loosely. Optional: work a row of fine crochet edging if desired; however I prefer the simplicity of this garment left as is. Wrap yourself in a toasty cozy bit of Organic delight knowing you've done your bit for the environment in the bargain! Copyright Reserved
