Use a document management system to make sure that the latest revisions of all IOS Specifications and related documents are properly distributed. Request letters of confirmation from sub-suppliers, subcontractors and suppliers of raw materials confirming that they have received, reviewed and understood the required IOS Specifications and related documents. Verify that all applicable test reports and/or certificates (self declarations, letters of conformity, MSDS) from suppliers of raw materials are in order, particularly in cases where the name of the raw material grade has been modified by the raw material supplier. Check the validity date of all applicable test reports and/or certificates (self declarations, letters of conformity, IOS-MAT certificates, etc.) at least once a year. Verify that all Supplier Index and Specification Index documents stating latest implementation date have been properly signed and returned to IKEA to be implemented in the system. Implement a system or plan for detecting and handling problems. Implement system(s) to comply with IWAY and ISQAP standards. Create preventive actions to secure compliance with IKEA requirements.
