Repossession Housing charity Shelter has compiled a list of possession claims using figures recorded by the Ministry of Justice. A possession claim is the first step in a property being taking away from its owner, because they have not kept up payments on their mortgage, though not all cases end in repossession. Barking and Dagenham in London, twice the national average of repossessions eight in every 1,000 properties are repossessed and are top of the list. Knowsley in the North West and Thurrock in the East of England are at second place and Lewisham in south London and Rossendale, also in the North West are fourth and fifth place on the table of repossessions. So much for Margaret Thatchers dream of a home for all British families, with the astronomic rise in property values since she left power, the mortgages have been higher also and most buyers are not even managing to finish paying their mortgage. The mass immigration into this country started by the last Labour Government cannot of helped any. These clueless, destructive, idiots should not be voted for in their constituencies again. They have destroyed most of Britain and its values. Chief executive of Shelter, Campbell Robb, said: The journey from being a homeowner to becoming homeless is frighteningly swift. The present Conservative Party led government have not helped either, we have clueless ex-public schoolboys who insist they know how to run a country and no one at the grass roots can or should be allowed to.
