This assessment will determine if the participant will be granted Act 48 hours for the training program. 3 Independent Skill or task being assessed: Turning the iPad and Kindle Fire on and off. Charging the iPad and Kindle Fire. Syncing the iPad and Kindle Fire. 2 Independent with some assistance 1 Not independent, needs further instruction

    Using the touch screen keyboard. Creating accounts with iTunes and Amazon. Navigating the menus on the iPad and Kindle Fire. Searching for apps on the iPad and Kindle Fire. Installing apps on the iPad and Kindle Fire.

    Launching apps on the iPad and Kindle Fire. Install 5 educational apps on both devices. Install 1 special education related application on both devices. Complete 5 application evaluation rubrics for both devices. Research, install, launch and utilize a classroom management tool for the iPad and Kindle Fire. Research, install, launch and utilize a collaboration app/tool for the iPad and Kindle Fire.
