    The Tessins to the Philippines

    Dear Pastor, My name is Daniel Charles Tessin, Jr. and I have been a missionary in the Philippines since October of 1992. I have had a part in planting three Fundamental Baptist Churches in that time. I have been acquainted Pastor Bill Hardecker since 2000. I first met his wife Marcia in 1992. Their sending church, Mount Zion Baptist Church of Brogue, Pennsylvania has supported our ministry since 1992. Over the years the Hardeckers have been a great blessing to me personally. Their communication with me as a missionary has been both encouraging and helpful. Their zeal for soul-winning and discipleship has helped me in my ministry. The Hardeckers visited our ministry at the Cross and Crown Baptist Church of Las Pinas City, Metro Manila in 2007. They made a great impression on the members of our congregation during their short ministry with us. Since that time the members of our congregation have been praying that the Lord would send this couple back to the Philippines to plant churches. Praise the Lord for hearing our prayers. As a Filipino, Bill already understands the culture and can speak the Tagalog language. His tenure as a member of the pastoral staff of Mt. Zion Baptist Church has clearly honed his preaching skills, ability to minister to people, and musical talents. He is prepared to dive straight into the work once he arrives on the field. The ladies of our congregation in the Philippines instantly fell in love with Marcia. Her musical talents, knowledge of Gods Word, and pleasing personality will surely make her a great asset to her husband in his church planting ministry. The Philippines is a nation of great need. Though there are many missionaries and Baptist churches here, many, if not most, are in a state of lukewarm compromise. The Hardeckers plan to plant fundamental churches founded on Gods Word with Christ honoring music. Please prayerfully consider joining the team to reach the Philippines with the Gospel by having a part in the ministry of Bill and Marcia Hardecker.
