Basic Needs
Performance Needs
Excitement Needs

3. Give an example of meeting each of the Kano Model’s client needs in the
design of a product's poster.

Basic Needs: This need will be expected by the client, who will probably not
even mention what he wants Eg. Using a particular font and size.

Performance Needs: These needs will most likely be brought up by the client
telling you what he wants Eg. Client wants particular use of a colour palette.

Excitement Needs: The WOW factor. Exceeding client’s expectations and


bringing something new to the table Eg. Making a holographic poster.
