Perfume Mood board

Bradley Pock

Analysis of perfume mood board.

Most of the perfume adverts all have the same things in common, for example all of the adverts use models to emphasize and advertise certain messages to their target market. The majority of the adverts have the models as the main image or the biggest image with the perfume in the corners or the side of the advert in a much smaller size. I have also noticed that the adverts either use the same colour scheme as the actual perfume or base their colour scheme around the product so as to compliment it and make it eye-catching and relevant to the title of the product and perhaps a slogan that they might have (an example of this is Beyonces perfume Pulse). All the images used in the perfume adverts have a relevance related to the perfume, the brands that have made these perfume products all try to convey a specific message to their target audience to increase sales and to emphasize the brilliance of their product over others in the industry. The majority of the adverts seem to take male and female ambitions and dreams and make them seem like they could be reality but only if they wore that product. In conclusion I have seen that through the perfume industry is a widely competitive business it is also a very similar and profitable industry despite the fact that the majority of perfumes for both male and female are almost identically similar and they all use a variety of techniques in order to sell their products usually emotions or physical and mental conflictions that men and women are very conscious about.
