10 STEPS: 1. There is a written policy about the breastfeeding that should be communicated to all heath care personnel

2. There must be a training to all health care staff necessary to implement this policy

3. Informed all pregnant mothers about the management and benefits of breastfeeding

4. Help mothers initiate breastfeeding within half an hour after birth

5. Demonstrate to all mothers how to breastfed and maintain lactation even when they are separated from there infant

6. Encourage breast feeding per demand

7. A mother should give only breast milk to a newborn infant and and pre-lacteal feeding is strictly prohibited

8. No artificial teats or pacifiers (also called dummies or soothers) in breastfeeding infants

9. Advice mothers to room-in their babies within 24 hours

10. Support and foster those clusters or groups who made and established about breastfeeding and endorse it to all mothers after discharge from the hospital
