Our dear homeland ,Islamic Republic of Pakistan, came into being on 14th august 1947.It was the realization of the dream of Allama Iqbal and the greatest achiements of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Pakistan was achieved in the name if Islam.Pakistan means the land of pious people. Chaudhary Rehmat Ali suggested the name of pakistan and also designed its flag .Ahmad G Chagla composed the tune of our national anthem and hafees jallandhary wrote its lyrics.Quaid-e-Azam became the first governor general of pakistan and Liakat Ali Khan was the first prime minister. Allah has blessed Pakistan with all the important landfeaturesi.e.loftymountains,plateaus,plains,desser ts,rivers and the mineral resources etc.K-2 the 2nd highest peak pf the world,is also in pakistan.The total area of the country is 796,096 sq km.Its population is about seventeen crores (17,00,00,000).It is the 2nd largest muslim country of the world.Our national game is hockey,national language is urdu and national flower is jasmine.our litercy rate is about 38% in average.

China,Afghanistan,Iran and India are our neighbouring countries.Pakistan location has made it a very important country of the world.It is considered the fort of Islam and has the honour of being the first nuclear power of the world. Pakistan is an agricultural country.wheat,rice,cotton ,maze and sugarcane are its major crops.Fives riversIndus ,Jhelum ,sutlej,chenaband ravi irrigate our plains. Our irrigation network is one of the best irrigation system of the world.
