at least 3 from Set A, but time
restricts answering more than 12;
he needs to answer at least 4 from
Set B, but time restricts answering
more than 15. In total, the student
can answer no more than 20. How
many from each set of questions
must the student answer,
assuming that all answers are
correct, to maximize his score?

bikes and scooters.
Experience shows they must
produce at least 10 scooters.
The factory can produce at
most 60 scooters and 1200
bikes per month. The profit
on a scooter is $134 and on
a bike, $20. They can make
at most 160 units combined.

per month to maximize profit?

bar must sell at least 10
hamburgers but cannot cook
more than 40. It must also
sell at least 30 hot dogs but

4. It takes a tailoring firm 2
hours of cutting and 4 hours
of sewing to make a knit suit.
To make a worsted suit it
takes 4 hours of cutting and

20 hours per day are
available for cutting, and, at
most 16 hours per day are
available for sewing. The profit on a
knit suit is $35 and on a worsted suit $30. How many
