MDA ARRESTS LOCAL BUSINESS LEADERS FOR COMMITTING ACTS OF KINDNESS


WHO: The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Dave and Busters of Plymouth Meeting Over 80 Jail Birds Philadelphia Business Leaders Prominent Jailbirds such as Tony Salamone MDA Goodwill Ambassador Connor Hafner and family MDA Goodwill Ambassador Christian Suchodolski and family Volunteers from Best Buy The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) will be arresting local business leaders and hold them in jail at the Dave and Busters in Plymouth Meeting. While doing time, these jailbirds will be contacting family, friends and co-workers to collect bail donations to support MDA and its local families that are affected by neuromuscular disease. The jailbirds will be involved in fun activities as well as meeting two of our MDA families, the Hafners and the Suchodolskis. July 15, 2009 from 9 am. To 4 pm. Dave and Busters of Plymouth Meeting 500 West Germantown Pike Suite 2195 Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 Millions of Americans are affected by neuromuscular disease and MDA has committed itself to finding cures for these diseases while helping families cope. MDA has set its goal at $35,000 for the Plymouth Meeting Lock-Up. All funds raised will stay local, supporting MDA families in the surrounding areas by providing clinic services, support groups, research, helping with the purchase of orthopedic equipment and repairs and providing a week-long session of summer camp for children age 6 to 17. MDA is a national voluntary health agency aimed at conquering 43 neuromuscular diseases that affect over a million Americans. MDA combats these diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive local services and far-reaching professional and public health education. MDA seeks no government grants, United Way funds or fees from patients or their families enabling those receiving aid from the organization to do so free of charge.
