CONGRATULATIONS on acquiring your Coremaster Xtreme Aeration System. These state of the art aerators offer an unparalleled combination of Depth and Speed. With proper use and maintenance your aerator should provide many years of effective service.
CHECK CRATE & CONTENTS noting any transportation damage immediately upon arrival. Write up any discrepancies / damage on the Courier Delivery Docket before signing it! Open crate and identify all parts. (A check list is supplied with the machine). Should and discrepancy and / damage be found please contact your dealer immediately. SAFETY FIRST: Read and understand this Manual thoroughly BEFORE attempting to Set Up, Operate or Service your new Coremaster. For your own safety and the safety of those around you follow all procedures and comply with all DANGER, WARNING & CAUTION notices. Always refer to this Manual BEFORE Operating or Servicing Coremaster. FAILURE TO DO SO CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR EQUIPMENT FAILURE. THIS MANUAL is a permanent and integral part of your Coremaster and must remain with the machine in the event of relocation or ownership transfer. Part # CXA6012 for Coremaster Xtreme 12 left to right. E.g. Tine Leg #1 is on the LHS and #6 or #8 is on the RHS when facing the forward direction of travel. TOOLS required for procedures are detailed in this Manual. GREENCARE COREMASTER OPERATORS MANUAL

WARNING!
Coremaster is specifically deisgned as turf aerators fitted with very sharp tines which plunge repeatedly into the turf at high speed to relieve soil compaction. Coremaster has high speed parts which produce vibrations. If this equipment is not properly maintained, such vibrations can loosen nuts on bolts, loosen socket set screws & move parts out of alignment. This will cause rapid component wear and subsequent machine failure if left unchecked. Such damage is specifically excluded from warranty. Never use Coremaster in areas where the tines can hit solid objects such as concrete, rocks, irrigation equipment, tree roots, etc. Under those conditions, severe vibrations and sudden jerking movements can occur causing loss of control, serious personal injury and severe damage to the aerator. Always place your Coremaster on its cradle before servicing. The following points should assist you with safe, trouble free aeration:

WHILE AERATING:

2.1 Observe all Safety Procedures and requirements at all times! 2.2 Never activate PTO Shaft while Coremaster is raised high on 3-point hitch. Never drop Coremaster to the ground correctly adjust 3-point hitch descent rate. 2.3 Aerate in straight lines. Coremaster is not designed to turn corners while aerating. 2.4 Ensure suspension roller is on the turf when aerating slow down /decrease depth. 2.5 Avoid all electrical cables, hydraulic lines and other hazards, including those located overhead and underground, as such items can cause serious personal injury. Record location of all hazards. 2.6 Avoid hitting objects under the turf this is a turf aerator not a rock aerator. 2.7 Watch for blocked / missing Tines clean / replace immediately. Keep spare sets of Tines handy. 2.8 Investigate all unusual noises and vibrations immediately. Discontinue use until remedied. 2.9 Realign and tighten any loose parts, nuts, bolts, set screws, etc. Immediately. Use prescribed Loctite.

BEFORE AERATING:

1.1 arefully select competent, responsible C operators with proven safety records for training. 1.2 Thoroughly supervise, train and assess new operators of the Coremaster as per this Manual. 1.3 Soften-up area to be aerated with water or aerate immediately after good rainfall. 1.4 Identify and clearly mark the location of all electrical cables, hydraulic lines, and other hazards including those located overhead and underground. 1.5 Check for any loose parts, nuts, bolts etc. realign and tighten as required 1.6 Ensure all Lubrication Points are lubricated to specification using GreenCare recommended Grease, Pt # LCX007. Use of non-specified grease can void warranty! 1.7 Lubricate all parts to specifications. 1.8 Ensure Tines are sharp and that the inside surface is clean and rust free. Never modify Tines. 1.9 Perform all Pre-Start Checklists on Coremaster and Tractor as per this & Tractor manuals

AFTER AERATING

3.1 Always store Coremaster on its support Cradle never store Coremaster on its Tines 3.2 Thoroughly clean Tines, Spigots, Inserts & Holders lubricate with light rust preventative oil. 3.3 Repair / replace any damaged or worn parts immediately. 3.4 Clean Coremaster by wiping down. Never use high-pressure wash systems. This WARNING PAGE highlights selected points only and must be read in conjunction with the entire contents of this Manual before proceeding. Coremaster is not recommended for rental or loaning to untrained operators due to their very strict operating procedures. Personal injury and /or equipment damage can and will occur. SAFETY
YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY IS NUMBER ONE TO GREENCARE. This Manual was produced with that in mind. Please read and understand this Manual thoroughly before operating your Coremaster. Pay close attention to all DANGER, WARNING & CAUTION notices included with the text. Refer to this and your Tractors Manuals often and keeps them readily available for all personnel who operate and maintain this equipment. Your well-being also depends on following safe work practices and procedures at all times. This includes selecting the right Tractor & using safety equipment (e.g. long thick gloves, hard hat etc). Keeping the Coremaster well maintained and in good working condition will further ensure your safety. By taking these very basic steps, you will be rewarded with safe, long term, trouble free performance from this equipment. Safety cannot be taken for granted. It requires the unwavering dedication of three parties: 1. GREENCARE: GreenCare takes your safety very seriously. The team at GreenCare designs and builds the safest machines possible, using state of the art technology. No shortcuts are taken in manufacturing our products. The highest quality and craftsmanship went into producing Coremaster. This product is powerful, heavy and features high speed internal components. Although GreenCare Products contain built in safety features, please remember that all industrial equipment of this type is potentially dangerous. 2. THE OWNER: Once the Coremaster leaves our factory, its physical condition and maintenance is controlled by the purchaser and the relevant maintenance staff. It is then up to the purchaser to take responsibility for keeping this equipment in safe condition and good working order for continual use. Furthermore, it is the Owners responsibility to actively seek out any problems encountered by the Operators. The Coremaster Operators Manuals sets forth the necessary and appropriate steps to be taken for safely operating and maintaining Coremaster. Reading and understanding this and other supporting GreenCare Publications (e.g. Workshop Manual) on a regular basis is essential for personal safety when operating and maintaining this equipment. If this Manual or any other GreenCare literature is lost, misplaced or damaged, replacements are readily available through your GreenCare dealer or from GreenCare direct. To assist in making repairs, GreenCare, via your dealer, has a ready supply of high quality Spare Parts. We are also keen to provide technical support and advice when necessary. Never hesitate to contact your Dealer or GreenCare direct for such information and proper support. Our contact details are on the front cover of this manual. 3. THE OPERATOR: GreenCare makes every effort to advise you on how to safely operate Coremaster. Ultimately however, it is you, as operator of the equipment, who has the greatest degree of control over the manner in which Coremaster is accurately used. You therefore bear the greatest responsibility for ensuring your own safety and the safety of those around you on the job. Observers must always stand clear of the equipment. Coremaster contains sharp Tines intended to penetrate and remove soil cores from turf and compacted soil. You must take every precaution to avoid the potential injury that can be caused by coming in contact with moving parts. The specific procedures outlines in this Manual must be followed in order to avoid such injury. Please study this Manual and the Tractor Manual thoroughly. Be aware of your operating environment and the condition of the turf you are working on. Never operate this equipment in rough terrain or on steep slopes. Identify and mark all electrical cables, sprinklers, hydraulic lines, overhead & underground obstructions and other hazards. Avoid all hazards when aerating.

SAFETY
Never assume that ANY machine is in safe working condition! To assist you in inspecting this equipment, please perform all the procedures detailed in the Pre-start Checklists before each use. Never operate this equipment with covers or components missing, malfunctioning or in poor condition. Proper maintenance requires prompt and effective communication. Operators must immediately notify the maintenance supervisor of any problems or unusual vibration / noise with Coremaster. Do not use Coremaster until all repairs have been completed and Pre-start Checklist Procedures have been repeated.

READ AND COMPLY WITH ALL SAFETY DECALS

2.1 ocate, read and fully understand all safety L and other Decals on this equipment. 2.2 Point out these Decals to all other operators and maintenance personnel. 2.3 At sites where languages other than English are used, translate these Decals and write their important messages in the appropriate language alongside each Decal. Use a suitable, weather-proof marking pen. 2.4 Here are some examples of Safety Decals used on this equipment.

RECOGNIZE SAFETY INFORMATION

This is the Safety Alert Symbol. It is used throughout this Manual and on the equipment to alert you to possible dangers. Serious personal injury and / or equipment damage can result if these warnings are ignored. Observe all safety warnings and procedures at all times.

1.2 The Safety Alert Symbol is used with the word DANGER, WARNING & CAUTION and is followed with an important message describing the Safety Risk.

3. LEARN EQUIPMENT SAFETY
5.3 Wear close fitting clothing and safety equipment that appropriate for the job. 5.4 Wear a protective hard hat and goggles when aerating on a golf course, ball park or similar venue. Avoid projectiles at all times. 5.5 Exposure to sunlight can cause sunburn and serious health problems including cancer. Always wear a broad rimmed hat, long protective clothing and apply effective sunscreen to remaining exposed skin surfaces. 5.6 Never inhale the Exhaust Fumes or any internal combustion engine. Exhaust Fumes are very poisonous and can cause serious injury in the short and long term.

3.1 Read this Manual carefully. Learn how to correctly operate the Coremaster and Tractor before aerating. Practice with the equipment before starting an aeration project. 3.2 Do not allow anyone to operate the Coremaster without proper instruction & testing. 3.3 Do not modify the Coremaster - its safety and performance can be impaired. Warranty can also be affected. 3.4 GreenCare encourages you to obtain as much safety information as possible, including those prescribed by Safety Authorities and share it with your fellow workers. Always observe safety regulations at all times.

KEEP OFF MACHINERY

4. PREPARE FOR EMERGENCIES

4.1 Learn how to quickly stop the equipment safely in the event of an emergency. 4.2 Keep emergency telephone numbers accessible for doctors, ambulance services, hospital and fire departments. 4.3 Keep a First Aid Kit and Fire Extinguisher handy. 4.4 Be prepared if fire starts. 4.5 If your clothing catches on fire roll on the ground to smother the flames - dirt and sand can be used to assist in smothering a fire.

6.1 Do not allow any person to ride on the Coremaster. Refer to Tractors Operator Manual for Tractors rider limitations. 6.2 Riders on machinery and / or tractors are dangerously exposed to falling, being struck by foreign objects or getting caught in moving parts. Riders also obstruct the view of the operator which may result in unsafe machine operation, accidents and collisions.

PERSONAL PROTECTION

5.1 When operating this equipment, wear Safety approved earmuffs or earplugs to protect against noise. 5.2 Wear thick, protective gloves with extended sleeves (gauntlets when handling Coremaster Tines or when working on Coremaster.

7. STAY CLEAR OF BELTS AND ROTATING DRIVE LINES
8.8 Do not run internal combustion engines in enclosed spaces. Open doors and ensure adequate ventilation if the engine is run inside a building for even a very short period of time. DO NOT INHALE EXHAUST FUMES. INHALING EXHAUST FUMES IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH. SEEK IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION IF THIS OCCURS.

7.1 Entanglement in a rotating drive line can cause serious injury or death. 7.2 Keep Tractor Power-Take-Off Guards, PTO Shields and all other Shields in place and in safe working condition at all times. 7.3 Wear only close fitting clothing. 7.4 Stop the engine and ensure all moving parts have ceased rotating before making adjustments, connections or servicing PTO driven equipment.

PRACTICE SAFE MAINTENANCE

HANDLE FUEL WITH CARE AVOID FIRES

9.1 Always refer to the Maintenance Section and, if necessary, to the Coremaster Workshop Manual (Part # CJA730) before commencing maintenance work. 9.2 You must understand service procedures before performing any maintenance on this equipment. Never lubricate or service your Coremaster while it is running. Keep all body parts and clothing clear of moving parts. Before servicing, deactivate the Tractors PTO system, stop the engine, engage the Tractors parking brake and wait for all moving parts to stop. 9.3 Always use a hazard free, clan and level site for maintenance and storage - avoid high traffic areas. 9.4 Secure Coremaster safely on its Support Cradle before performing maintenance. Never use makeshift supports such as jack, bricks or props that may collapse or slip under the load. Keep the PTO shaft with the Coremaster when detached from the Tractor. 9.5 Do not place any portion of your body under the Coremaster while it is in the raised position on the Tractors 3-point hitch.

8.1 Fuel is highly flammable, handle with care at all times. 8.2 Refer to tractor Manual for correct refuelling procedures. 8.3 Never smoke when refuelling or operating this equipment. 8.4 Always stop the engine and allow it to cool for at least 10 minutes before refuelling. 8.5 Refuel outdoors or in a well ventilated area. 8.6 Clean up spilt fuel immediately. Should any fuel spill on the engine during refuelling, clean it off before starting the engine. 8.7 Reduce fire risk by keeping all machinery clean of accumulated trash, grease and debris.

9.6 Wear thick protective gloves when handling or working near the Tines - they are very sharp and can cause serious lacerations. 9.7 Ensure all Covers, Shields & Guards are back in place before aerating again. 9.8 Should you have any queries relating to Safety or other issues with this equipment, please contact your Dealer or GreenCare direct for full Product Support before proceeding. 9.9 The following Safety Notes page is provided to record important information relating to this equipment in your application. Please use and make additional copies of this page as necessary.

10.1 The Coremaster Operators Manual must remain with the Coremaster in the event of relocation or ownership transfer. It contains very important Safety Information and Operating Procedures and is a permanent and integral part of your Coremaster. GETTING STARTED:

COREMASTER - SETUP
You will need: Tin Snips, Phillips Screw Driver, Hammer, Chisel, Pinch Bar.

1.

OPEN UP CRATE

1.1 Cut steel banding around crate and remove.

DANGER
STEEL BANDING HAS SHARP EDGES AND CAN SPRING BACK AT HIGH SPEED WHEN CUT. TO AVOID INJURY WEAR SAFETY EYE SHIELDS, GLOVES AND PROTECTIVE CLOTHING.

1.2 Remove crate top. Remove or render safe all exposed nails / screws. 1.3 Look inside crate and locate the front of the Coremaster by identifying the 3-point Hitch Mounts. 1.4 Remove the vertical crate panel closest to the 3-Point Hitch Mounts 1.5 Remove any exposed nails or screws before proceeding to avoid personal injury or damage to the equipment. Hint: Coremaster can be removed without further dismantling of the crate.

UNPACK CONTENTS

2.1 Remove all loose items stored in front of and under the Coremaster. 2.2 Check contents of the create to the Factory Checklist included and your Purchase Order to ensure that all quipment, accessories and e supplies ordered have been received. 2.3 Remove the 2 Hold Down Screws that secure the Cradle to the Crate. Do NOT cut the Cable Ties that lock the Coremaster to the Cradle. IMPORTANT N ote any discrepancies or damage on the Delivery Docket and immediately alert your Dealer. GreenCare / Dealer will only accept responsibility for missing items that are reported to it within 7 days of delivery. Items damaged or missing in transit are the responsibility of the Carrier.

3. COREMASTER ATTACHMENT POINTS
4.1 Reverse Tractor up to Coremaster, still located in its crate. Refer to Tractor Manual. 4.2 Connect Lower 3-Point Hitch Arms of Tractor to the Coremaster Lower Attachment Points using the Lower Link Pins. Secure in place with Linch Pins. Note: The Lower Link Pins may be installed either from the inside or from the outside as is most convenient for you. 4.3 Check that your Top Link is of suitable length before installing. (See page 4). 4.4 Adjust the length of the Top Link to fit between the Tractor and Coremasters Upper Attachment Clevis. 4.5 Connect the Upper 3-Point Hitch Top Link to both the Tractor and to the Coremaster. Secure with Top Link Pins and Linch Pins. Secure Top Link adjustment setting with Locking Device.

3.1 Locate the Upper Link Pin and Linch Pin and remove from machine. 3.2 Locate the two Lower Link Pins and Linch Pins and remove them from the Machine. 3.3 Locate the PTO Input Shaft. Do not attach the PTO at this time. ATTACH COREMASTER TO TRACTOR

C oremaster is supplied with two Lower Link Pins and one Top Link Pin, each complete with Linch Pins. You must provide a Top Link of correct length. Refer to your Tractor Operators Manual for details of tractor specific 3-Point Hitch procedures to attach Implements to your Tractor.

Note: Linch Pins lock Link Pins in position.

5. REMOVE COREMASTER FROM CRATE
You will need: Tin Snips or Side Cutting Pliers The Top Link of the Tractors 3-point hitch requires adjusting. It is essential for your Safety and proper Coremaster Set Up that the Top Link is of the correct length. See example 1: EXAMPLE 1: This Top Link has correct length and adjustment.

5.1 Start Tractor Engine and slowly lift the Tractors 3-Point Hitch until Coremaster, with Cradle attached are raised clear of the crate base. 5.2 Drive forward until the Coremaster with the Cradle still attached, is fully out of the crate. 5.3 Using Tin Snips or Side Cutting Pliers, cut and remove the 4 corner Cable Ties to detach the Coremaster from the Cradle. 5.4 Raise the Coremaster fully on the 3-Point Hitch and slowly drive forward until the Coremaster is clear of the Cradle. Raise Coremaster, with Cradle attached, on 3-point hitch of Tractor. With cradle attached, drive forward until Coremaster and Cradle are out of Crate. Lower Coremaster & Cradle to ground. Cut 4 Cable Ties (one in each corner) to detach Cradle

Sufficient threads are exposed (A & B ) to allow for fine adjustments. A minimum of 2 (50mm) overlapping threads (C & D) are in contact to secure the Coremaster. NOTE: Lengths A=B and C=D OK TO USE!! A,B,C &D: Correct length for use.

INCORRECT & UNSAFE TOP LINKAGE SET UPS

There are numerous possibilities of incorrect and unsafe top linkage set ups. Example 2 & 3 below are just two examples of how NOT to set up your Coremaster. EXAMPLE 2: The top link is too short! There are insufficient threads (C & D) in contact to safely secure the weight of Coremaster on the 3-Point Hitch even though lengths A=B and C=D DO NOT USE!!

WARNING
Never place any portion of your body under coremaaster while it is raised on the 3 point hitch. Serious personal injury could occur.

A & B: Too long. C & D: Too short.

ASSEMBLE CRADLE
You will need: 2 x 13mm Wrenches

6.1 Raise the CoreMaster fully on the 3-point hitch and slowly drive forward until the CoreMaster is fully clear of the Cradle. 6.2 Install the four Castor Wheels onto the four corners of the Cradle Frame.

A: Too Long. C: Too short Important: Keep Top Linkage Threads clean and greased.

WARNING
Always use a top link of correct length for the connection. Insufficient or damaged threads in contact inside the top link can cause the connection to fail resulting in equipment damage and serious personal injury. A minimum of 2 (50mm) of thread at each end must be in contact inside the top link. a) Check that Top Link has 2 (50mm) threads at each end in contact with inside of tube.............................................. Check that Top Link is correctly adjusted and locked in place. ................................... Check that all 3-Point Hitch Pins are in place and secured by Linch Pins. ..............

Hint: Turn Cradle up-side down or on its side to make installation of Castors easier. 6.3 The two Front Struts are adjustable to allow you to adapt their height to suit the Tractor you are using.

6.4 Always place Coremaster safely on its Cradle before performing any service or maintenance. Always store Coremaster on its Cradle. Slowly Cradle by lowering 3-Point Hitch on Tractor.

7.

ADJUST DESCENT RATE

The 3-Point Hitch raises and lowers the Coremaster. Although the descent rate can be controlled by the Tractors Draft Control Lever, it is essential that the maximum descent rate be strictly limited by adjusting the Hydraulic Flow Control Valve on the Tractor - usually located under or near the Tractor Seat. This will prevent the Coremaster from free-falling to the ground should the Draft Control Lever be accidentally activated. Refer to Tractor Manual.

WARNING
Failure to set a slow descent rate can allow the coremaster to free-fall to the ground. Severe injury and / or equipment damage can & will occur. Stand clear when raising and / or lowering the 3-point hitch.

NOTE: The length of the Top Link on the 3-Point Hitch may need to be adjusted to allow the Coremaster to rest flat on the four Cradle Support Struts. This also assists when disconnecting the Tractor from the Coremaster. Re-adjust Top Link before Aerating.

7.1 Drive to a clear and level area of turf. 7.2 Using the 3-Point Hitch Control Lever (Draft .. Control Lever), check that the Coremaster is raised to the maximum possible height. 7.3 Close the Hydraulic Flow Control Valve completely. 7.4 Slowly move the 3-Point Hitch lift / lower Control Lever to the lowest possible position. If the Core Master descends during this process repeat step 7.3. 7.5 Slowly open the Flow Control Valve until it takes approximately 4 6 seconds for the Coremaster to or from the fully raised to the fully lowered position.

7.6 Raise and lower Coremaster several times to for the descent to be completed. NOTE: It is not necessary to adjust the ascent rate on most Tractors. 3 -Point Hitch has been adjusted so that it takes 4 - 6 seconds to descend. ................ Important: Adjust Flow Control Valve so that the Coremaster lowers from full height to the ground in 4 to 6 seconds. NEVER allow Coremaster to free-fall to the ground. 8.4 Lay a Spirit Level across the top of the Coremaster Cover or view the Coremaster from the rear. 8.5 Adjust the 3-Point Hitch Levelling Adjustment Screw until the Spirit Level indicates that the Coremaster is level behind the Tractor. Lock Adjustment Screw at this setting - Refer to Tractor Manual. HINT: Lower the Coremaster to the ground first. This takes the weight off the Adjusting Screw making it easier to rotate. Simply raise the Coremaster up again to check the new setting. Repeat as required. 8.6 With the Coremaster set at the intended Aeration Depth, lower Coremaster to the ground. Adjust Top Link until the Coremaster Front Panel is vertical. Lock Top Link in place. Use Spirit Level if necessary. NOTE: In varying turf conditions, the tine hole quality can be improved by shortening the top 3-Point Hitch arm thereby tilting the Coremaster slightly forward. a) cannot sway from side to side ............... b) is in correct horizontal alignment ........... c) is in correct vertical alignment ............... .

8.

ADJUST 3-POINT HITCH

You will need: Spirit Level, Wrenches to suit Anti Sway system and Top Link.

8.1 Drive Tractor with Coremaster attached onto a level concrete or turf surface. N OTE: PTO Shaft and Tines need not be fitted at this stage.

8.2 Lower the Coremaster to the ground. Then raise it 2 (50mm). 8.3 Adjust the Anti-Sway system to centralise and restrain the two lower arms of 3-Point Linkage from swaying side to side. Tighten the Locking Nuts or engage the Locking Devices to secure - refer to Tractor Manual. NOTE: When centralised, the lower 3-Point Hitch Arms should be the same distance from the Rear Tyres.

8.7 Check that Coremaster:

Failure to correctly adjust the anti-sway system will cause the equipment to sway from side to side behind the tractor. This can cause immediate tractor instability, roll-overs and severe personal injury or death.

9. INSTALL PTO SHAFT

The PTO Shaft is a very important, high stress component which transfers the power of the Tractors Engine to Coremaster. It is essential that the PTO Shaft be installed correctly and serviced regularly during its operating life - refer to PTO Shaft Manufacturers Instructions. NOTE: Locking Collars may be provided instead of Push Pins - see Manufacturers Instructions. You will need: Phillips Screw Driver, Marking Pen, Hacksaw, File, Vice, Grease and Clean up rags. 9.6 With one hand, hold the two Shafts parallel to each other in the horizontal plane. Mark each Shaft 1/2 (13mm) short of the other Shafts Yoke. IMPORTANT To avoid sever equipment damage, it is important you install the PTO Shaft correctly. Damage caused by installation errors is NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. 9.7 Remove both PTO Shafts from equipment and clamp them in a vice. Cut each Shaft as marked with a hacksaw. 9.8 De-burr, wash and remove all filings. 9.9 Apply GreenCare Glide Grease (PT# LCX007) to the outside surface of the Inner Shaft. Also, grease the inside surface of the outer shaft. Clean and grease all other lubrication points. 9.10 Cut both Shields to length. HINT: Cut each shield tube 1/4 (6mm) shorter than the Shafts. This makes it easier to align the two Shafts when re-assembling.

9.1 Lower Coremaster until the Tractor PTO Output Shaft and the Coremaster PTO Input Shaft are at the same height above the ground ( or as close as you can align them on the horizontal plane) HINT: Rotate Depth Adjustment Handle to full depth setting if necessary and remove any Tines fitted to the aerator . 9.2 Turn the Tractor Engine off, engage the Parking Brake and wait until all parts have ceased moving. Clean and lubricate Tractor and Coremaster PTO Shaft Splines.

9.3 Remove the two Phillips Head Locking Screws located at (A) and (B) on the PTO Shields Mark the Shields alignment. 9.4 Rotate the Shield either right or left to align the Shield Slots with the Bearing Tabs at (C ) and (D) and remove both the Inner (male) and Outer (female) PTO Shafts from the Shield. 9.5 Attach the Male (Inner) PTO Shaft to the Tractor PTO Output Shaft and the Female (Outer) PTO Shaft to the Coremaster Input Shaft. NOTE: Ensure that the Push Pins (F) & (G) click into place.

9.11 Re-install the two Shield halves onto the PTO Shafts. The Outer Shield goes onto the Inner Shaft and the Inner Shield goes onto the Outer Shaft. Realign as per markings see 9.3. Twist the Shields to lock them against the Bearing Tabs and secure in place with the two original Phillips Head Screws removed in step 9.3. IMPORTANT Never operate PTO Shaft when the 3-Point Hitch is in the raised position. Excessive damage to the PTO Universal (Cross) Joints can occur. 9.16 Secure the PTO Shaft Safety Chain to the 3-Point Hitch Top Link or other suitable location - refer to the PTO Shaft Manufacturers Guidelines. This stops the PTO Shaft Safety Shield from rotating. 9.17 Raise Coremaster fully on the 3-Point Hitch and check that the Inner and Outer PTO Shafts do not separate. If they do separate or there is very little overlap in the raised position, re-align the Shafts and lower slightly. Set the Height Restrictor on the Tractors 3-Point Hitch Control Lever to prevent the 3-Point Hitch from fully raising Coremaster and extending the PTO Shaft past a safe point - refer to Tractor Manual. 9.18 Raise Coremaster and remove Cradle. 9.19 Lower Coremaster until the PTO Shaft is horizontal - or as close as possible. 9.20 Depress the Push Pin at the Tractor end and with the Push Pin depressed, try to pull the Yoke off the Tractors Splined Shaft. There should be approximately 1/2 to 3/4 (13 - 19mm) movement. If there is no movement or the Push Pin is difficult to depress, the PTO Shaft is too Long. If there is excess movement, the PTO Shaft is too short. You will require new PTO Shaft (Pt#UHW017A) before repeating steps 9.1 - 9.20. 9.21 Start Tractor Engine and slowly raise and lower Coremaster. Observe that the PTO Shaft extends and contracts correctly and that no separation occurs in the raised position. Check also that the PTO Shaft allows Coremaster to reach full depth. SEVERE DAMAGE WILL OCCUR TO COREMASTER and / or TRACTOR IF THE PTO SHAFT IS TOO LONG. Repeat steps 9.1 to 9.21 if the Shaft is too long. 9.22 Write Coremaster, as applies, on PTO Outer Shield together with Tractor ID to clearly identify it.

9.12 Join both halves of the PTO Shaft together and then slide them in and out several times to spread the grease HINT: There is no need to separate the Shafts. 9.13 On a level surface start the Tractor Engine and raise 3-Point Hitch with Coremaster attached Lower Coremaster onto its Support Cradle. Stop Tractor Engine and set Parking Brake - refer to Tractor Manual. 9.14 Keeping the two PTO Shaft Halves together, install the end of the PTO Shaft which has the Outer Shield on it to the Tractors Output Shaft. Depress the Push Pin and slide the Yoke onto the Tractors Output Shaft. Release the Push Pin and continue sliding the Yoke forward until the Push Pin clicks into place. Pull back on the Yoke to ensure it is locked securely in place. HINT: It may be necessary to rotate the Shaft a little to align the Splines. 9.15 Keeping the two PTO Shaft Halves together, connect the other end of the PTO Shaft to the Coremaster Input Shaft. Depress the Push Pin and slide the Yoke onto the Coremasters Input Shaft. Release the Push Pin and continue sliding the Yoke forward until the Push Pins click into place. Pull back on the . Yoke to ensue it is locked securely in place. It may be necessary to raise Coremaster on 3-Point Hitch to attach other end of PTO Shaft to Coremasters gearbox input shaft. HINT: It may be necessary to rotate the Shaft a little to align the Splines.

GREENCARE LIMITED WARRANTY

1. YOUR WARRANTY PROTECTION
1.1 All new GreenCare Equipment is warranted by GreenCare, to the original purchaser only, to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year from the date of purchase (This period is limited to 90 days if the product is used for commercial, contractor, construction, industrial, institutional, rental, or demonstration application / purpose). All new GreenCare Parts and Accessories that are not included in your original GreenCare Equipment are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 30 days from the date of purchase. These warranties apply only to Equipment, Parts and Accessories purchased from GreenCare or its Authorised Equipment Dealers. Warranty coverage will only be provided to Equipment, Parts and Accessories that have been stored, assembled, installed, operated and maintained in accordance with GreenCares instructions and recommendations as outlined in the pertinent Operators Manual and Workshop Manual. 1.2 GreenCares obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair and / or replacement, at GreenCares option, of any GreenCare Equipment, Part or Accessory that GreenCare finds is defective in material or workmanship Warranty repairs and replacements shall be at no charge for parts and labour to the purchaser. GreenCare reserves the right to inspect the Equipment, Parts & Accessories before approving warranty claims. Replacements may be made with new or remanufactured parts and accessories, whichever GreenCare elects. All Equipment, Parts & Components replaced under this warranty become the property of GreenCare. GreenCare will only assume labour costs for any warranty repairs and replacements in accordance with standard rates and time allocations approved by GreenCare. This warranty does not cover any premium labour charges, including any for additional work requested by the purchaser, or charges for work performed by the purchaser, its employees or agents. 1.3 This warranty will only cover claims submitted within the applicable warranty period. Any Parts or Components that are replaced by GreenCare pursuant to the warranty applicable to your original GreenCare Equipment will be covered for defects in material and workmanship for 30 days after your acquisition or for the duration of the Equipments warranty, whichever is later.

HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM

2.1 Complete the Product Registration Form located in your Operators Manual and forward it to GreenCare at the address shown on the front cover within 7 days of the date of purchase in order to register such purchase with GreenCare. 2.2 Provided proof of purchase documentation, ownership registration or a copy of the Bill of Sale at the time the product is presented for repair. 2..3 Complete GreenCares Warranty Claim Form, Sections 1-9. A copy is provided for you in this manual and is also included in your Parts List. 2.4 Submit the signed Warranty Claim Form and your Equipment to an Authorized GreenCare Dealer for assessment. All applications for warranty must be received within the applicable warranty period. 2.5 All Parts subject to warranty claim must be received by GreenCare for inspection within 14 days of lodging the claim.

This warranty does not cover defects, malfunctions, failures or damages resulting from:

3.1 Incorrect Set-Up or Adjustment or your GreenCare Equipment. 3.2 Operating your GreenCare Equipment in a manner other than as specified in the Operators Manual. 3.3 Lack of reasonable and necessary maintenance as specified in the Operators & Workshop Manuals. 3.4 Modifications made to the Equipment not authorised by GreenCare in writing. 3.5 Inadequate ground preparation or operating in ground containing rocks, debris and other obstructions.

GREENCARE LIMITED WARRANTY

3.6 Misuse, abuse and accidents. Misuse includes the use of the Equipment for any purpose for which it was not designed, or the continued use of the equipment following malfunction or breakage of any part of the Equipment, by whatever cause, or the use of the Equipment without first conducting all pre-checks and maintenance requirements as described in the Operators Manual. 4.5 Factors Beyond the Manufacturers Control: Damage from the environment such as rain, airborne fallout (chemicals, tree sap etc) salt, hail, windstorms, lightning, floods & other Acts of God and the like. 4.6 Consequential Damages: GreenCare shall not be liable under any circumstances for any incidental or consequential damages or expense of any kind, including but not limited to, cost of equipment rental, loss of profits or cost of hiring services to perform tasks normally performed by the Equipment. 4.7 Ancillary Components: Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Components used in this product are warranted by their respective manufacturers, i.e engine, gearbox etc.

3.7 Use of other than genuine GreenCare Parts. 3.8 Installation of new GreenCare Parts, Components or Accessories which are adversely affected by existing worn or used part(s) in the Equipment. 3.9 Problems arising from the installation of worn parts in the Equipment. 3.10 Use of accessories or attachments not approved by GreenCare in writing. 3.11 Any work or adjustments performed not in accordance with GreenCares specifications and / or performed by persons or entities that are not authorised by GreenCare. 3.12 Water / moisture contamination of bearings, clutches and other components caused by weather exposure, washing, irrigation systems, damp storage etc. See the pertinent Operators Manual and Workshop Manual for ways to avoid the above.

FURTHER LEGAL LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY.

PERSON (INCLUDING ITS AUTHORISED SELLING OR SERVICING DEALERS) TO CREATE FOR IT ANY OTHER OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THIS EQUIPMENT UNLESS GREENCARE DELIVERS TO THE PURCHASER A SEPARATE WRITTEN CERTIFICATE SPECIFICALLY WARRANTING THE ITEM. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE APPLICABLE TO THIS PRODUCT IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITEEN WARRANTY. THE PERFORMANCE OF THE NEEDED REPAIRS AND PART REPLACEMENTS ARE THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY. FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM BREACH OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY. Such maintenance is solely the purchasers responsibility.
