SOME GUIDELINES FOR WRITING A PROJECT REPORT: 1.

Each report should start with the front page (without any header or foot er). 2. Followed by: a. ABSTRACT b. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT c. TABLE OF CONTENTS d. LIST OF FIGURES (if any) e. LIST OF TABLES (if any) 3. All the above contents pages should have a Romanian page no. (Such as i, ii, iii, iv etc.) as their footer. 4. After these the main contents of the topic will follow (such as INTRODUC TION, SCINTIFIC BACKGROUND, and DESCRIPTION about the TOPIC etc.). 5. The last of the documentation will have a CONCLUSION page. 6. After conclusion, the report should end with REFERENCE page with proper URL or Book or Journal reference format as given in this document. 7. All the above chapter names should have chapter no. associated with them as shown in this document except the REFERENCE page. 8. All the above pages should contain numeric page no. (Such as 1,2,3,4 etc .) as their footer. 9. All the above pages should have also the TOPIC NAME as their header. 10. Check the followings for the writing formats: a. Heading1- Arial, bold, 18pts, left-aligned with border b. Heading2- Arial, bold, 14pts, left-aligned c. Heading3- Arial, bold, 12pts, left-aligned d. Figure - Arial, bold, 10pts, center-aligned e. Contents (Normal Text) Times New Roman, 12pts, justified f. Header- Arial, bold, 10pts, left-aligned(left Indent= - 0.25 ) g. Footer- Arial, bold, 10pts, center-aligned h. Paragraph spacing- 1.5 lines i. Table of contents/ list of figures/list of tables should contain the hyp erlink references to the exact location in the report, not a copied one. 11. REFER THE SEMINAR REPORT FORMAT. 12. The project report should contain the following contents as the main cha pters: a. Introduction b. Project Description c. Requirement study for the project d. System Flow Graph or architecture of the project e. Work done till now f. Outputs (if any) g. Future work to be done h. Summery till now
