I find it funny that this is our journal topic for the day. I have asked myself all of these questions numerous times since I was introduced to formal writing. So what the hell is MLA? Some stupid organization that for some reason decided their way of writing was CORRECT. Who are they? A group of odd intellectuals that felt so strongly about their writing style that they fought to transform the whole world into writers just like them. These people are similar to leaders like Hitler and Joseph Kony. These individual are very confident in themselves and they feed off the power of knowing everyone is following in their footsteps. What is the point? The point of MLA is to slowly transform every developing child into a cookie cutter shaped adolescent. There is no way possible that some child out there has a better or innovative way of writing. We found that already, it is using the MLA format. These people do not want to see new ideas and development in school systems. EVERYBODY NEEDS TO BE THE SAME.
