Teacher, United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), Damak Jhapa, Nepal – (May 2004
– April 2008)

• Taught Mathematics in Grades 5- 10 (28 classes periods in a week with up to 45- 50 students in a
class.

• Developed and implemented all lesson plans for various other subjects.

• Taught vocational accounting and book keeping skills to senior students in planning and managing
their financial skills.

• Coordinated teaching activities with the UNHCR administration

• Worked collaboratively with teaching staff members and conducted meetings and other extra
curriculum activities like sports and games

• Participated in volunteer community development teaching projects that served illiterate

populations ages 21 and above.

Inventory Manager/Control – (March 2006 – April 2008)

• Managed the textbook inventory for eleven (11) UNHCR schools that catered to 4000 students and
200 teachers and teaching assistants.

• Assured that all the inventories were in good condition.

• Kept appropriate datas on the inventory.

• Provided customer service by helping studentsto find books.
