Possible angles to be used in our film...

Looking at this image gave our group some ideas of which we could use for our filming. Possible ideas included: Eye Level shots, to show fear within the weaker characters Worms eye shot, to show power and height to the character, showing they have a high role in the film High shot, this will be used a character loose power, eg: if a character gets killed off. Low shot, if a character gains power, respect or authority throughout the clip Close up shot, to show the different facial expression and emotion going through the particular character at the time

Birds eye shot however would be hard to produce as we do not have a lot of equipment to raise us into the air, apart from climbing a tree, of which is a health and safety hazard.

Both of these shots are used within our film, they are both called low shots, this is because the camera is lower than the character, with the lenses facing upwards, this creates an emphasis on the character height, compared to the viewer, by making them appear to seem taller, gives the character authority and power. In the first image, the bride walks down the stairs, on her wedding day she would feel like the luckiest women alive, showing her authority, compared to when she loses it later on in the film and gets stood up at the altar. The second image is taken from a low angle because it shows the bride is powerful as she is taking her own life away from herself.

By using this close up shots, we can see the pain and evilness within her eyes. The up-close shot is used effectively at both the beginning and end of the film, but cutting the clips and zooming in, it appears the face gets closer to the camera in an instant; this can create a scary atmosphere towards the audience.

By placing the camera on the floor and recording these low shots, we can initially just see the feet of the bride. In the first image, by just seeing the dress of the bride, the audience knows straight away which character she is, without even seeing her face; this can worry the audience, as they want the venerable girl to run as the bride is coming after her. These worked very effectively when attempting the hanging scene, as we couldnt physically hang the bride, so we interoperated that she had, due to dropping the flowers.
