Comparative Analysis of performance appraisal system of GTL Infrastructure Limited and Birla Corporation

PURPOSE: Performance appraisal is defined as a formal interaction between a subordinate and supervisor, in which the work performance of subordinate is examined and discussed and identifying weaknesses, strengths and opportunities for improvement and skills development. Performance appraisal is said to be an effective appraisal system when it should emphasis on individual objectives, organizational objectives and also mutual objectives. The purpose of choosing this topic is to have an understanding of performance appraisal system and to make a comparison between performance appraisal system of GTL infrastructure limited and Birla Corporation. By the end of this research project the very purpose i.e. to gain an understanding of performance appraisal system of both the GTL Infrastructure Limited and Birla Corporation is to be done.

MAIN BODY OF THE PAPER: The research paper will consist of the following points in details:

Introduction: In this point firstly the explanation regarding the performance appraisal system will be given and after the performance appraisal system of both the companies are going to be explained individually and after that a comparison will also be done between both the companies regarding their performance appraisal system.

Literature review: There are various articles and journals will be reviewed on various different topics relating to performance appraisal system. Methodology: In this section the methodology will be explained which is going to be analytical from various secondary sources like journals, articles, websites etc. Discussion: Under this section the main purpose of the study will be fulfilled by doing a detailed comparison between the performance appraisal system of GTL Infrastructure Limited and Birla Corporation. Conclusion: Now on the basis of above discussion a brief conclusion will be sort out to reach at the end point of the study. References and Bibliography: Under this section all due credits will be given to all the authors and writers of the books and articles whose help will be taken during the completion of the project.
