TO UNDERSTAND VARIOUS STRATEGIES USED BY NOKIA TO MARKET ITS PRODUCT. TO UNDERSTAND WHY IT IS THE MOST TRUSTED BRAND ? TO UNDERSTAND HOW IT IS ABLE TO MARKET ITS PRODUCT ACROSS VARIOUS SEGMENT OF THE SOCIETY.

TO EVALUATE THE ROLE OF ADVERTISEMENT ON BUYING BEHAVIOUR OF THE CUSTOMER. TO UNDERSTAND WHAT RESPONDENTS THINK ABOUT NOKIA.

Descriptive research
DESCRIPTIVE RESEARCH AIMS AT DESCRIBING THE CHARACTERISTIC OF PARTICULAR INDIVIDUAL, OR GROUP WITH SPECIFIC NARRATION OF FACTS. AS MY PROJECT IS BASED ON MARKETING STRATEGIES OF NOKIA-AKIND OF INDIVIDUAL CHARACTERISTIC; HENCE IT IS BASED ON DESCRIPTIVE RESEARCH.

1) PRIMARY DATA: I AM GOING TO COLLECT PRIMARY DATA WITH THE HELP OF SURVEY.

2) SECONDARY DATA: SECONDARY DATA WILL CONSIST OF DIFFERENT LITERATURES LIKE NEWSPAPERS, MAGZINES AND THE COMPANY REPORT AND WEBSITES OF COMPANY www.nokia.com.

DETERMINING THE SAMPLE DESIGN


IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO COLLECT INFORMATION FROM EVERY MEMBER OF POPULATION. THAT I M GOING TO TAKE ONLY 50 INDIVIDUAL AS SAMPLE SIZE. THE MEMBER WILL BE SELECTED ON RANDOM BASIS SO THAT BAIS IS ELEMINATED AND SAMPLING ERROR CAN BE ESTIMATED.

COLLECTING THE DATA


THERE ARE VARIOUS WAYS OF DATA COLLECTION BUT I HAVE CHOSEN SURVEY METHOD AND PERSONAL INTERVIEW FROM NOKIA PRIORITY CENTRE. MY SURVEY IS BASED ON CUSTOMER SATISFACATION THROUGH MARKETING STRATEGY OF NOKIA. I HAVE PREPARED 10 QUESTION WITH THE HELP OF WHICH I AM GOING TO COLLECT DATA.

EXECUTION OF THE PROJECT


FIRST I WILL COLLECT SECONDARY DATA FROM NEWSPAPER, MAGAZINE AND INTERNET. AFTER THAT IN VACATION I AM GOING TO COLLECT PRIMARY DATA WITH THE HELP OF QUESTIONNAIRE.

AFTER THAT WITH THE HELP OF QUESTIONNAIRE I WILL DO DATA ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION THROUGH NOKIA PRODUCT.

WITH THE DATA COLLECTED BY QUESTIONNAIRE I AM GOING DO ANALYSIS WITH THE HELP OFTABLE, BAR DAIGRAM, PIE CHART.
