My Farewell Speech My Farewell Speech By- Asif Iqbal We have waited for this moment all our lives, the moment when we leave our childhood behind and step into the world to forge our own paths in life. We have counted down the years, the months, the hours, minutes and seconds, and finally, that moment has arrived. I find myself not a little sad, for I will be leaving behind people that shaped my life and a place that is as much a part of my identity as the name I bear.....

I will miss the delightful smells from the chemistry lab that waft their way through the ground floor. Most of all, I will miss the very heart of my experience as a student; my friends and my teachers. Thank you teachers, for all that you have taught me - lessons that extended well beyond the four walls of a

classroom. Thank you, all my classmates, for two wonderful years - for all the fun, the hysterical laughter and the valuable lessons we learned. Although we may be separated by time and distance in the interim, nothing will diminish the important role that you have and always will play in our lives. I wish you happy adventures, fantastic new friendships, amazing experiences and the journey of a lifetime.Richard Bach says, "Can miles truly separate you from friends? If you want to be with someone you love ... aren't you already there?" Honorable Senior Headmaster; The Headmaster; Respected Teachers; and Dear students. ASSALAM O ALAIKUM I have given the responsibility to stand for my fellows of 10th class on this vital occasion. First of all, I would like to thank all my juniors for arranging such a grand function for the seniors. I admire the kinship of love, sincerity of thoughts and purity of passions from the depth of my heart expressed in my brothers speech. Sweet memories of by gone days have put an ever lasting impression on my soul and self. This school is not a building of bricks and blocks but a light

house for departing students. It gave us whatever we needed. It prepared us with the knowledge covering the space between the mind and the world. It changed our raw minds in ripen fruits. It taught us how to speak, how to behave and how to act in the society. Concepts of evil and virtue were clearly told by our kind teacher Mr. Muhammad Ashraf. Dear Brothers, we have spent a period of time with you that is embodied with the excitement and passions. It is quite possible we may have committed some wrong with you .On behalf of my fellows, I offer my heartiest regrets for that. I request you not only to accept my apology but also see us off with the hearts full of gentle obsessions. In fact, this very passion is a priceless gift for us in the life to

come. We are really obliged a great deal to our worthy teachers as well. Our diligent teachers gave us the knowledge with such an affection, honesty and love that is truly unique. We cannot pay back for whatever they have granted us. The sticks of Ashiq sahib and carrots of Usman Ghani sahib will always be in our memory. I express my deep sorrows for little mistakes that may have upset our teachers. Dear Brothers, today I am confronted with mixed feelings of reception and farewell. No style of conversation, no way of expression of the wonderful things they showed us. I pray God to... And so it is ... and always will be with you as we carry you always close to our hearts. May the road rise up to meet you, May the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand Thanks to all of my teachers, for providing me with myriad opportunities for growth during my time here as a student.

When we leave here today, we...

Alhamdulillah, we are grateful to the Almighty for it with his permission we are able to extend life together and met in the ceremony. PTA General Meeting to-37 time. Perhaps they are more than 37 schools. At first, I received a call from Mr. President to speak in the PTA and was quite surprised as well. I say what? If representatives of the people, then he will leave the promise of opening, if not indecent thousand dollars, maybe two thousand or three thousand if not 10,000. If I, I miss? Perhaps a good rule, too, recalls the former students of this school for the opening. Felt a little nervous too, it's known in my presence is promoted brother sister, parents, uncles aunts, as well as younger age and rank. Some may have class with me here first.

Parents + Teachers = Conflicts As we are introduced to the four key beliefs that form the framework for the MIT program here at City University, (Preparation, Practice, People, and Professionalism) I have chosen to focus first on People, since people are at the core of what we are seeking to become. Obviously there are areas of overlap in the four; like professionalism is going to include preparation, but people are at the heart of it; teachers, parents, children, and administrators working together for the common goal of education. Unfortunately even though the goal is the same, what route to take in order to achieve that goal is sometime a contentious one. Laws are passed. Curriculums are made with the general population in mind, but not the individual. Teachers have to work with their entire class at the same time. The parent however is often focused on only one thing, the education of their child and that can lead to problems In "Parents Behaving Badly" by Nancy Gibb (Time, 2005,135,40-49), the author examines

She sites from a 2004 MetLife survey, (Gibb, 2005, p.44) that 90% of new teachers agree that involving parents in their children's education is a priority, however only 25% described their experience working with parents as "very satisfying". In fact 31% of the teachers cited involving and communicating with parents as the biggest challenge they face. The vast majority of teachers in the survey felt too many parents treat schools and teachers as adversaries. Parental induced problems included, but were certainly not limited to: parents doing their children's homework, blaming teachers for their child's mistakes, demanding that grades be changed, demanding daily updates on their child's progress, restricting teacher's speech (in the context of Parents + Teachers = Conflicts 3 what can be said to their child),...

Parents Teachers: Influences Adolescence is a time of "storm and strife"

: : Introduction : : Adolescence is a time of storm and strife. Adolescence is a period of time between childhood and adulthood. This is the age when one can either make something of his life or destroy it all, this is the time when a person makes those friends who changes the how he looks at life and how he faces it. An adolescent's main goal these days is to fit in and not be different from their peers. In this paper I will explore the probabilities of the following grievances experienced by the adolescent youth which are drugs, suicide, and homelessness. : : Body of the Essay : : Adolescence is the developmental stage between childhood and adulthood; it generally refers to a period ranging from teen years through

20s. As now life is growing more complex, however, adolescents are increasingly cut off from the activities of their elders, leaving most young people with education as their sole occupation. Inexorably, this has isolated

Now almost all over the world the adolescent years have become marked by violence to an alarming degree. The phenomenon of teenage suicide has become particularly disturbing, but risk-taking behaviors of many sorts can be observed, including alcohol and drug abuse. Adolescents only want to have fun and go to parties. They get addicted to drugs and start to revolve their lives around drugs. Some get arrested and others encounter death. Addiction is so powerful that it takes control of people's brains and only tells them to do wrong. Drugs are highly Addictive, and most of the adolescents main goal is to fit in the group by doing what the whole group does, this is how they get into crack, booze, pot and crystal. Dr. Nowinski's book in which he states his study of Adolescents drugs and addicts describes specific cases of adolescent drug abuse that he has worked with. He describes the different patterns of adolescent...
