Before the war, following the crash of the stock market, millions of Americans were struggling to make enough money to survive. The machine of war brought hope by offering hundreds of thousands of extra jobs. Manufacturing was crucial to the war Now, one
could work at a factory assembling bombers or be at work making a plate for the next warship to leave the harbor. These workers
would have had nothing to build, however, if the technology to was not present in the first place. The war brought about new
weaponry and advancements in warfare such as combat planes, bombers, and tanks. None of these things had been seen before,
at least not on the scale that they were being used during the war. Despite the previous norm though, men were not the ones
manufacturing all of thisit was the women, while the men were all off fighting in Europe and the Pacific. This was a
wonderful opportunity for women, and after the war, they kept

third disastrous war, so the United Nations was created in hopes that it could maintain peace through the process of diplomacy. The United States also moved away from its passive stance that it had taken at the beginning of the war, instead becoming more active in the politics of the world, for example, the attempts to contain communism in Korea and Vietnam. colonization was also at an end. The era of
relinquishing foreign territories that they could no longer afford after the war, and the United States followed their lead. World War Two was a vital time to history, not only because of the triumph over Hitler and the horrors of war, but also because it changed so much in the world. Nothing would ever be
the same again, and whether it was worth it or not, the war brought the planet into a new age and one step closer in the direction of the future.
