towards the achievement of organizational aims.[1] It can also be considered as the viewing glass or perspective through which individuals see their organization and its environment.[2] An organization can be structured in many different ways, depending on their objectives. There are many problems surrounding Club Chaos to say the least, but the main issue that comes to mind is the pure lack of training/experience and professionalism of the Managing Staff. There is no way an establishment can be properly run, especially one that involves so much customer service and satisfaction, with this type of leadership. The management is using poor tactics to run this business, so naturally employees will not have any loyalty or any sense of worth and value for their positions; which usually leads to lack luster performance and below average results for a corporation.

The managers also seem to punish behavior that really is due to their own faults. For instance, constantly hassling the Chefs and cooks to improve kitchen performance and provide better quality, but not taking the time to increase their training and resources, in fact even going as far to cut their resources is just pure stupidity! Management doesn't seem to punish poor behavior such as theft, horse playing around the kitchen, and taking time away from company task to mingle in with the customer crowd, probably because the managers are guilty of many of the same poor behaviors as their employees.

Employee behaviors are poor, and staff like Cathy who were actually productive, educated, experienced, and professional have been run off due to horrible communicational skills, poor employee wages and benefits, and also lack of productivity. This company has a situation where they have no clear production plans, no organizational behavior, no training to properly reinforce learning, and of course poor leaders in place. This case could be turned around by first changing the management personel, and maybe also changing many of the employees, since they have not been exposed to a properly run facility, and many horse play and participate in theft, and never run the events, book contracts and deals, or prepare dishes in the right manner. If the people were changed in this situation, new mangement plans were drafted, along with educated and/or experienced managers were in place, the situation would automatically be changed along with it.

In the case study, it was apparent that Rocco made an attempt to stop the theft problems, maybe much too late. He used a Negative Reinforcement tactic, while using Punishment (termination) as the end result of any unacceptable behavior. However, by this time the employees were far too gone, and management had no real authoritative power within the facility

One of the fastest if not the fastest growing fast food chain in the Philippines is the MangInasal fast food restaurant. In just seven years since opening the first MangInasal restaurant in the province of Iloilo, founder Edgar Sia has now established himself among the leaders in the fast food industry.

MangInasal introduces a unique native approach that perfectly suits the Filipino taste. What make MangInasal different from the rest of the fast food giants in the Philippines is perhaps the type of food thy offer. Instead of competing with burger magnates Jollibee and the multi-national corporation McDonald's, MangInasal created a niche of its own; a niche that caters to the Filipino tongue.

To date, there are 300 MangInasal stores nationwide employing more than 8,000 Filipinos. Thus, due to its unique approach, MangInasal is deemed by many as a better franchise opportunity than Jollibee and McDonald's. More so, there are still a lot of things that should be taken into consideration when opening MangInasal franchise.

Location One of the major determinants of franchise success is the location of your franchise. Your newlyconstructed MangInasal restaurant should be put in a strategic location that is accessible to huge traffic. Furthermore, the management of MangInasal prioritizes investors who already have their own store location.

Initial Investment Initial investment on a MangInasal restaurant is significantly lower than say a Jollibee restaurant. Franchising a MangInasal restaurant could range from 6-10 million pesos depending on the location, the size of the establishment and other specifics. Needless to say, franchising a Jollibee restaurant requires 15-30 million pesos of initial capital.

Hence, MangInasal requires a smaller capital perhaps due to its age and it has yet to fully established itself in the culture of the Filipino masses the way Jollibee did. However, in my opinion, it's just a matter of time before this is accomplished. Morover, MangInasal charges a monthly 7% service and advertising fee (based on gross sales) to all its franchises and the franchise term is pegged at seven years (renewable.)

Return on Investment

The initial investment in a MangInasal restaurant is not that high so basically the return on investment and break-even can be achieved in a shorter period of time. A MangInasal restaurant usually profits 100,000-150,000 pesos a month and estimates reveal that the return on investment can be achieved more or less in five year's time.
