11. (a) using mason’s gain formula find C/R. [marks 16]

(b) find C/R using block diagram reduction technique. [marks 16]

12. (a) the open loop transfer of a unity feedback control system is G(s)=
k(1+0.5s)(+2s) / s2(s2+4s+5). Determine the position, velocity and acceleration
error constants and the steady state error for
1. unit ramp
2. unit step and
3. unit parabolic inputs [marks 16]

(b) 1. check the stability of a system with characteristic equation

2. list all the rules to construct a root locus and explain. [marks 10]
