3D BLU-RAY

Introduction
Blu-ray is the latest storage media for all your data. It is made to supersede the CD`s and DVD`s. The technology is advancing so they have created discs read only through the blue laser lights which made the name BLU-RAY. These are main contributors in BLU-RAY formation.

What is Blu-Ray?
Blu-ray as mentioned earlier is a kind of Optical disc storage medium which is and will be used for storing media in the present and the near future. This Disc is made from the same material i.e. SILICON MAGNETIC CHIP; for storing data like Music, Videos, and all Documents. This is made in Japan in October 2000; officially released in June 2006, made with 400 Nanometers of Blue Laser light diodes.

The Past, Present and Future

Past: We have been using Floppy drives, and CD`s for storage.

Present: We are now using CD-ROM`s/CD-RW`s, DVD-ROM`s/DVD-RW`s and Pen drives for storage.

Future: We will be using BD-ROM`s/BDRW`s/BDXL and External Hard drives only.

Technical Details .
BD discs are available in variable capacities
25 Gb Single Layer. 50 Gb Dual Layer. 100 Gb Dual Layer. 128 Gb Dual Layer. 250 Gb Dual and Triple Layer. 500 Gb Dual and Triple Layer.

Scientists and Technicians have worked out on 100/128 Gb discs with Triple Layer to gain more space and defragmentation of data.
