Iftwogroundrodsareinstalled(NEC250.56),bothgroundrodsshallbeinstalledtoleft orrightofmetersocketbutnotinfront.Thegroundingelectrodeconductorshallnot passinfrontofmetersocketorpedestal.

502. BONDINGSERVICEENTRANCEANDMETERINGEQUIPMENT A. Theelectricalcontractorisresponsibleforallbondingconnections. B. Theterminationcabinet,theCTcabinetandthemetersocketenclosureshallbebonded to: 1. Thesystemneutralwhentheyarelocatedonthelinesideoforatthemain disconnect. 2. Theequipmentgroundingconductor,whenallofthefollowingapply: a. Theyareinstalledtheloadsideofthemaindisconnect. b. D.IntersystembondingCATV,CableDishsystemsandTelephoneCompaniesshallbondto thegroundingelectrodesystem,ifavailable.Ifthegroundingelectrodesystemisnotreadily available,bondingshallbedoneatthegroundterminalbarinthemainserviceentrance equipment.NEC250.94(2)or(3)only.Thisintersystembondingshallnotbedoneinoron themeteringequipment.WisconsinisthejurisdictionofthePSC.(PSC114.099) E.Meterdisconnectswitchesnominallyratednotinexcessof600voltsshallhaveashort circuitratingequaltoorgreaterthantheavailableshortcircuitcurrent.Thesedevicesshall alsobegroundedandbondedaccordingtopartsV&VIIofArticle250. 503.BONDINGCONDUCTORSIZING A. Equipmentbondingconductorsonthesupplysideofserviceshallbesizedaccordingto NEC250.102C.Table503maybeusedasaguideindeterminingtheminimumsizefor equip.bondingconductorsformeteringcabinetinstallations. B. Table503assumes75Ctemperatureratingsforserviceentranceconductors,withno adjustmentfactorformorethan3currentcarryingconductors.Ona3phase4wirewye servicewherethemajorportionoftheloadconsistsofnonlinear(harmonic)loads,the neutralshallbeconsideredasacurrentcarryingconductor(NEC310.15B4c);insuch casesalargerequipmentbondingconductorshallbeused.
