Press Release 72 CAFGUs gear up for PDOP

Mati City, Davao Oriental 72 Members of Citizens Armed Force Geographical Unit (CAFGU) of class 02-12, under Bravo Company, of 72nd Infantry Battalion, were declared graduates today from their Peace and Development Outreach Program (PDOP) Training. The rites started at around 9:00 am that simultaneously opened for batch 2 for PDOP Training covering 55 members of CAFGU in Davao Oriental. Said training, which lasted for almost a month, was supervised by 701st Infantry Brigade under BGen. Leonido Bongcawil. The activity was attended by Ret. Col. Dante M. Ganir, Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer (PENRO) of said province, who declared the 72 CAFGU Active Auxillary (CAA) graduates. Lt. Col. Lyndon Paniza, Battalion Commander of 72 nd IB, stressed in his remarks that said training is essential in order to consistently enhance the knowledge of all CAAs supporting 10th IDs PDOP efforts. They will also help facilitate in sustaining the established livelihood and the peace and order in the community. We are also grateful to the Honorable Governor Corazon Malanyaon for her constant support to all CAFGU in Davao Oriental, Paniza added.
