You will need at least 1/2 yard of a knit fabric with a one way or two way stretch. You will be able to cut 3-4 cocoons depending on width of your fabric. This pattern assumes you will be using a serger and sewing on the edge of the fabric. If you are using a sewing machine, use a stretch stitch with a 1/4 inch seam allowance. Cut both pieces according to pattern. Sew the body of the Cocoon along the curved edges Sew the ends of the Cuff together to create a loop Fold this loop together to create the cuff. Sew the raw edge of the cuff to the raw edge of the Cocoon Youre done! This pattern remains property of Namaste Mama LLC. You may use this pattern for your own use.
