Beachborough School provisionally offers wireless Internet access for devices personally owned by Staff.

The wireless network should only be accessed from Monday to Friday before 08:30 or after 17:00 unless for teaching purposes and with the same Internet filter that school computers currently enforces. Every time a member of staff accesses the Wireless network, they will have to agree to and abide by the terms listed below. If you accept these terms, please sign below. The access is provided strictly at the discretion of IT staff and the Headmaster. 1. Beachborough School will not be held liable for any damage or loss of data that may occur as a result of connecting to the Wireless Network or any electrical power source. 2. Beachborough School will not be held responsible for any physical damage, loss or theft of the personally owned device. 3. The Wireless Access Key must not be shared with anyone else. 4. Beachborough School reserves the right to inspect at any time any personally-owned device while connected to the wireless network. All the stipulations in the Staff Code of Conduct and Acceptable Use Policy still apply. 5. Personally-owned devices will only be connected to the wireless network at designated locations. Under no circumstances should the device be connected into the school network via cable. 8. Persons connecting computers to the Wireless Network agree to maintain current anti-virus software enabled on their computers. 9. Illegal, destructive, harmful or any other inappropriate activities, including, but not limited to computer hacking, accessing, offensive/obscene materials, engaging in illegal activity are strictly prohibited. I have read and understood the school rules for the use of computers at Beachborough School. I agree to abide by these rules and to use the schools wireless system in a responsible way at all times. I realise that any breach of these rules might result in disciplinary action.
