1. Instruct patient to tell your physician if you have an allergy to eggs,birds/bird products before receiving sodium hyaluronate. 2. Instruct patient not to engage any strenuous activity for the first 48 hours after injection. 3. Instruct patient to seek emergency medical help if allergic reactions occur such as hives;difficulty in breathing,swelling of face,lips,tongue or throat. 4. Inform patient that postoperative intraocular pressure (iop) may be elevated; carefully monitor IOP.
