THE JUDGEMENT OF TWO MOTHERS

This story is taken from the bible of the Hebrews. This story is about the love of a mother to her son and the wise decision of King Solomon. It said to be that King Solomon is gifted by God with wealth and wisdom as well. There were two women who lives on the same house, on other stories these two women were sisters. The two women both had an infant came to King Solomon for a judgement. One of the women claimed that it is her son after accidentally smothering her real son while sleeping, and because of this, when the other women fell asleep, she exchanged her son to the other and claimed that the living son was on her. The other women denied and so both women claimed the living son. King Solomon asked for sword to his servants. To be fair to the both women, the live son must split in two and received half of the infant for the both women. Upon hearing the terrible decision, the real mother cried out and said let just give the son to the other women and do not kill the son. However the liar exclaimed that no one would have the baby and just kill it. And by this, King Solomon instantly knew the real mother of the baby and instantly give it to her, and thats what the story ends. In real life, dividing or splitting is a fair decision and sometimes used in a legal profession for a form of single compromise solution which split the difference in terms of damage awards or other remedies. King Solomon knew that by splitting the baby, only the true mother only knows the real feeling of a son-mother relationship. The wise King who uses the strategy to determine the truth tricking the both parties into revealing their true feelings. Specifically the judge pretends that he will destroy the subject matter of a dispute rather than allowing either side to win or have the price. As a human being, we have our instinct to love and to feel pain. But it is not right that in order for us to relieve the pain is to hurt anyone just to remove the pain. Bu using the formalist approach, we have able to analyze well the poem.

Once Upon a Time

Once upon a time In my innocent and fearful eye When my dreams are higher When my thoughts are not stronger I feel this unexplainable feeling While Im on my way at the beginning Dreaming of something, and later nothing Nothing but a point of light at the start of my morning Organs sings, but drums keep on beating Trembling sound running through my ear On this once upon a time I live on a confusion my hesitation while on my decisions upon the break of dawn I see myself Between my toy car and a book on a shelf My dreams against my childhood But time is unstoppable so better start now And start writing the title of my dreams With the help of my once upon a time I finally find out the right rhythm of my life
