Clearing Browser Cache IE7 & IE8

Work-around for Discoverer bug leading to error: ORA-12899: value too large for column "ORASSO"."WWSSO_PSEX_USER_INFO$"."SSO_USERNAME
Within an open Internet Explorer browser window, choose Tools Internet Options from the menu.

In the General Tab (default), click the Settings button under the Browser history heading.

Click View files button under the heading Temporary Internet Files.

An explorer window will open listing files, your list of files will look different depending on your folder view options. Click an individual file 1 time to bring focus to the window. Press Ctrl-a on your keyboard to select all files. Press Delete on keyboard to delete all files. Choose Yes when prompted.

Close the Explorer window once all files are removed. Click OK to close the Temporary Internet Files and History Settings window. Go to the Content tab in Internet Options and click Clear SSL state button under the Certificates heading. Click OK to the confirmation that cache was successfully cleared.

Final step is to close all Internet Explorer windows. You can now open a new window and test that the issue is resolved in Discoverer.
