Qualifications:
Qualified by the State of Tennessee as a Limited License Electrician. Completed studies include AC/DC Electricity and Electronics Theory, solid-state devices, motors and motor controls, and automated controls for machines. Competent in the use of programmable equipment and programmable logic controls including applications, programming, and troubleshooting on the Allen-Bradley SLC 100 PLC. Qualified in the use of test equipment including: multi-meters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and evaluation and troubleshooting of numerous electronic systems. Developed and used ladder logic diagrams in controlling electrically powered equipment. Familiar with semiconductor devices including (but not limited to) diodes, zeners, and transistors. Provided support in extending and rerouting circuits. Competent in installing basic surveillance systems. Proficient in various Office suites (Microsoft Office, OpenOffice.org, StarOffice).
